I am a Spinning Babies Parent Educator (provisional), advanced VBAC doula and retired Hypnobabies instructor. I am also trained for the use of TENS in birth. In short I employ everything I can find to keep you safe, comfortable and calm. With over 9 years experience and helping with more than 110 babies, I would love to help you welcome your little one.

I’m a Certified Doula through Pain Free Birth, a program rooted in undisturbed, unmedicated faith-based birth support, and I am also a HypnoBabies trained HypnoDoula. I’m currently working toward becoming both an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Birthing from Within Childbirth Educator, blending clinical knowledge with creative, spiritual preparation. Hello Parents, I decided to begin my service as a Postpartum Doula because I have a passion for the wellness of women and children. I worked before as a Youth Liasion advocating for young people who battled homelessness. In my service, I met with several clients with little ones and they lacked the necessary resources to care for their children. I noticed the emotional strain that was placed on the mothers so I would help out where I could. I love spending time with children so I made the decision to become educated. My philosophy is this: you are not alone and it is perfectly fine to not know. You have support and you deserve it. I now own and operate and emotional health therapy practice and also do wholistic counseling. I adore mamas, babies and the birth and parenting journey. Juli's unique background combines the intuition of traditional midwifery and a strong sense of the spiritual side of the childbearing transition. Juli is fully supportive and embraces all families of every shape, size, color, creed, background, belief, sexual or gender identity. You will find love and caring at Open Heart Midwifery. Upon availability, you may hire the midwife to support you overnight during the postpartum period. Juli brings a wealth of experience with both singletons and multiples and can help families get a good night's sleep. She can also assist with feeding/nursing and newborn care skills. If you are feeling tired and alone, please reach out. If the midwife isn't available, she can help you find someone who is so you can access the support you need.
