Nia was heaven sent for my whole birthing process. She was extremely patient, kind snd accommodating. I am a second time mom with a huge gap so it was like the first time all over again. Nia helped to ease my fears by informing of options I was not aware of and weigh pros snd cons of each. She helped me create s birth plan and was my voice when I was hesitant to speak. Exercises, literature, in home sessions, phone support and postpartum visits…she does it all with grace. She helped me bring my baby boy into the world and for that I will forever be grateful. Thank you Nia❤️

Nia was an exceptional advisor, teacher, and friend from the beginning of our time together. My childbirth wouldn’t have been the same without her; the amount of preparation before labor definitely made a difference, but it’s nothing like the actual moment. Nia was so present for me and my spouse. Effective communicator with L&D staff at the hospital. A real wiz at labor positioning and pelvic tips too! Thank you Nia.

I met Nia through the Bornbir app and instantly felt comfortable with her. She was so supportive, reassuring, and attentive throughout my entire pregnancy and birth experience. She always made herself available for questions, check-ins, and emotional support, and I truly felt like she cared about me beyond just being her client. During labor, her calm energy helped me feel grounded and safe. She advocated for me, encouraged me, and made sure I felt empowered every step of the way. She also helped my partner feel included and supported which meant so much to us. I genuinely could not imagine my birth experience without her. If you are considering hiring a doula through Bornbir, I absolutely recommend Nia. She has such a natural gift for this work and made one of the most important moments of my life feel beautiful and supported.

I asked Nia to support me for the birth of my second child. My first baby was born in my home country, so this was my first time giving birth in a different country. On top of that, we were preparing to move to another state shortly after delivery. I knew I would need not only physical support, but also emotional and multifaceted guidance during such a major transition in my life. As a non-native living in the United States and still unfamiliar with many aspects of parenting here, I was deeply grateful for how warmly and respectfully Nia supported me. She truly honors each family’s cultural background and values. I never once felt judged or misunderstood. Instead, I felt seen, heard, and cared for in a way that respected who I am and where I come from. Nia is incredibly intelligent and always eager to learn. She provided thoughtful, practical advice about adjusting to life as a family of four — from changes in daily routines, meals, and home environment to navigating challenges with two children. Whenever I had concerns or felt overwhelmed, she responded with calm, accurate, and reassuring guidance. I unfortunately experienced complications from my epidural anesthesia, and my postpartum recovery was not smooth at first. However, thanks to her attentive care, my physical recovery ended up being better than after my first birth. What touched me especially was how gently and thoughtfully she supported my husband and helped him understand how to care for me. She was also incredibly sensitive and kind in guiding us on how to help our first child adjust to becoming an older sibling. Her approach built trust within our whole family, and I felt completely safe in her hands. We moved out of state, so continuing her support was not possible — but if it had been, I would have gladly asked her to stay with us much longer. I am truly grateful for everything she has done for our family. Her support during this important chapter of my life meant more than I can express. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for compassionate, culturally sensitive, and highly professional postpartum support.

I had the privilege of having Nia support me through two of the most emotionally and physically challenging experiences of my life: my third labor and delivery in 2023, and a couple years after a very tough medical abortion. In both situations, her presence, care, and advocacy made all the difference. During my labor and delivery, Nia was incredibly comforting and attentive. She advocated for me in the hospital when I needed support, helped communicate my needs, and made sure I felt safe and heard throughout the entire process. Her calm, grounded energy kept me centered, and her encouragement helped me get through some of the toughest moments. When I later faced a medical abortion, Nia remained just as supportive. She accompanied me to my appointments, drove me to the procedure, stayed by my side the entire time, and made sure I wasn’t alone emotionally or physically. Afterward, she went above and beyond, coming home with me, bringing me tea and soup, and providing the comfort and reassurance I truly needed. Her compassion, reliability, and unconditional support were a 10/10. I genuinely would not have wanted anyone else by my side. Nia is someone who shows up fully, advocates fiercely, and cares deeply. I am incredibly grateful for her.

Nia has presented great customer service and support during my pregnancy the past few months. Even being states away she has shared important information needed for labor and postpartum. Nia exemplifies what it means to be a doula, supportive, kind, understanding and real. I would recommend her services to any woman giving birth and looking for that extra support.
