My name is Meredeth! First and foremost, I am a Christian, I am happily married to my high school sweetheart—we’ll be celebrating a decade of love in 2026! Together, we’re blessed with five beautiful children, two dogs, and three cats—our own little lively village.
As the spouse of a military member and first responder, I deeply understand the strength, resilience, and support it takes to navigate life’s challenges. Fueled by coffee, tea, and the luxury of slow mornings, I’m also a book lover who’s always turning pages and dreaming big—currently aspiring to become a midwife and wholeheartedly embracing all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I’m Meredeth, a passionate full scope doula, postpartum support specialist, and newborn care provider — and most importantly, a mom of five beautiful children. Having experienced a wide variety of birth journeys myself, including induction, cesarean, VBAC, and natural birth center deliveries, I understand firsthand the joys, challenges, and transformative power of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
Living for two years in a maternal-fetal care desert opened my eyes to the critical need for compassionate, evidence-based doula care in underserved communities. This experience ignited my passion to support families who might otherwise face limited access to nurturing, informed assistance during such a pivotal time in their lives.
My mission is to provide personalized, empathetic care tailored to your unique journey—whether through birth doula support, postpartum nurturing, newborn care expertise, or breastfeeding counseling. Compassionate, nurturing, awake newborn care services include: Feeding Support: Bottle-feeding (formula or pumped breast milk) Assistance with breastfeeding positioning and latch Monitoring feeding cues and ensuring adequate intake Burping the baby Diapering and Changing: Changing diapers Cleaning and applying diaper cream as needed Soothing and Comforting: Rocking, swaddling, and comforting the baby to sleep Responding to cries and fussiness Pacifier management Sleep Monitoring and Management: Ensuring a safe sleep environment (e.g., back sleeping on a firm surface) Observing sleep patterns Helping to establish a routine (as much as possible in the newborn stage) Basic Baby Care: Bathing (if requested and appropriate for the newborn's age) Dressing and undressing the baby Tummy time supervision Light Household Tasks: Washing bottles and pump parts Sterilizing bottles and pump parts Tidying the nursery or baby's immediate sleeping area Light laundry related to the baby (e.g., burp cloths, onesies) Parental Support: Allowing parents to rest and sleep Answering basic questions about newborn care Providing a sense of security and peace of mind Monitoring and Reporting: Observing for any signs of distress or illness Keeping a log of feedings, diaper changes, and sleep Reporting any concerns to the parents.

Assistance in processing the birth experience in a safe and supportive space. Newborn Care Education: Guidance on all aspects of newborn care, delivered with patience and understanding. Focus on understanding your baby's cues and developing intuitive responses. Sleep education tailored to establishing healthy sleep habits for your baby and family. Comforting Home Environment: Light housekeeping to maintain a peaceful and organized living space. Nourishing meal preparation and light cooking to ensure you are well-fed and cared for. Breastfeeding & Feeding Support: Gentle and encouraging support for breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, focusing on comfort and success. Education to build your confidence in feeding your baby. Postpartum Well-being Awareness: Education on recognizing the signs and symptoms of postpartum mood disorders, providing resources and support.
