My love for birth began when I witnessed my mom give birth to my sister at home. My aunties, the midwives, and our family were all present and I saw the raw power and beauty of having people you trust holding you as you bring life into the world. At age six, I decided and told my family that I wanted to be a midwife. Since then, I’ve: Completed multiple doula trainings and certifications (Cornerstone, DONA) Attended home births, hospital births, epidural births, unmedicated births, and cesareans Began accepting insurance to make doula care more accessible Earned credentials in BLS and neonatal resuscitation Finished prerequisites for nursing school (with the intention of becoming a CNM) I bring a blend of emotional presence, clinical knowledge, and trust in you as the expert in your own experience. Whether I’m offering hip squeezes, translating medical jargon, or helping you find your intuition, I’m here for you.

My practice is evidence-based, emotionally attuned, and personalized to meet your needs. What I provide: Insurance-Covered Services I’m an in-network provider for Medi-Cal, Partnership Health Plan and Kaiser Permanente. Most clients pay nothing out of pocket for prenatal visits, labor support, and postpartum care. Learn more about what your insurance covers here. Prenatal Education & Planning We'll cover anatomy and physiology, pain management strategies, emotional preparation, birth preferences, postpartum recovery, and more—so you can enter labor feeling confident and informed. (Yes, I support planned cesareans with the same intention and care as any other birth.) Labor and Birth Support I provide continuous emotional and physical support, hands-on comfort measures, guidance for your partner, and help navigating unexpected changes in your birth plan—whether you're birthing at home or in a hospital. Postpartum Doula Care I support healing, feeding (chest/breast/bottle), infant care, emotional wellbeing, sibling adjustment, and more—offering grounded, nonjudgmental support in those early weeks.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maggie and the support she provided throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. From the very beginning, Maggie was attentive, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made sure I felt prepared for every step of the process, answering all my questions with patience and care. During labor, Maggie was a calming presence, offering both emotional and physical support in exactly the way I needed. She helped me stay focused and empowered throughout, and her reassuring energy made all the difference during those intense moments. What really stands out about Maggie is how much she truly cares. She went above and beyond to check in on me and my baby after the birth, making sure we were both adjusting well. Her postpartum care was just as thoughtful and attentive as her support during labor, and it helped me feel confident and cared for as I navigated new motherhood. If you’re looking for a doula who will be a steady, compassionate guide and advocate throughout your journey, I highly recommend Maggie. She’s truly exceptional at what she does, and I’m so grateful for the role she played in bringing my baby into the world!
