About me

Serving the NH seacoast: My name is Lynn Brokus and I am a registered nurse since 1977. I have worked in labor and delivery and many aspects of pediatrics over the years. ​ I loved working with new moms and their partners. I was missing it so I went back to school and became trained as a certified labor doula allowing me to get back into the field of labor and delivery. I am very excited to be able to help women and their partners through this most amazing time of their life! ​ I am the doula for you!

Service introduction

I have been trained in pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum support. I will provide nonmedical physical and emotional support before, during, and right after childbirth. I will help you make a birth plan listing your wishes for the birth so your hospital and provider will know your plan. I will explain the process of birth and possible options available. I will help your support person to better help support you during labor. Also I can help you with positions that help with comfort and help the baby to make the descent to be born. Probably most important is that I am someone who will be with you through labor and delivery helping with physical and emotional support. I am the Doula for you!
