Birth Support w/ 3 prenatal and 2 postpartum visits
My premium birth support package includes comprehensive care from pregnancy through your first month postpartum. We'll begin with three prenatal visits where we'll build a strong relationship, create your personalized birth plan, review labor stages and birth physiology in depth, and practice extensive comfort measures and breathing techniques with your partner. During these sessions, we'll cover pain management options, advocacy skills, labor positions, pushing techniques, newborn care basics, and strategies for handling challenging labor moments so you feel completely prepared and empowered. When labor begins, I provide on-call availability starting at 38 weeks and continuous support throughout your entire labor and birth—offering hands-on comfort measures like hip squeezes, rebozo techniques, massage, and strategic positioning changes, emotional encouragement and reassurance, guidance for both you and your partner, and advocacy to ensure your preferences are honored and your voice is heard. I remain with you through delivery and the first hours postpartum to support initial bonding and your immediate recovery. After birth, we'll have two postpartum visits to support your transition into parenthood. The first visit occurs within a few days of birth where we'll debrief your labor and delivery experience, address any physical or emotional concerns, check on your recovery and healing, and provide reassurance during those early adjustment days. Our second visit at the 30-day mark allows us to reflect on your first month of motherhood, discuss your emotional wellbeing and watch for postpartum mood changes, celebrate your strength and resilience, and ensure you have continued resources and support for your postpartum journey. Throughout this entire experience, you'll have my dedicated guidance, compassionate support, and unwavering presence.
Free Consultation
Before we begin our journey together, I'd love to meet with you and your partner for a consultation. This gives us the opportunity to:
Get to know each other personally
Discuss your birth preferences and hopes
Answer any questions you have about my services
Ensure we're the right match for one another
I always recommend interviewing 2-3 other doulas as well. Finding the right doula is about connection and comfort—you deserve to find the perfect person to support your birth experience.
There's no obligation after our consultation, and I'm happy to provide referrals to other wonderful doulas in the San Diego area who might also meet your needs.
Virtual Birth Plan
During our virtual birth plan session, we'll work together to create a personalized document that reflects your unique preferences and values. We'll discuss creating the ideal atmosphere for your birth including lighting, music, and who you want present. We'll explore pain management options—from natural comfort measures like movement, breathing techniques, and massage to medical interventions such as epidurals and other medications. We'll outline your delivery preferences including positioning, natural tearing vs. episiotomy, and whether you're planning for vaginal birth, VBAC, or water birth. We'll also cover contingency planning if a cesarean becomes necessary, ensuring your voice is heard even in unexpected situations. Finally, we'll detail your wishes for immediate postpartum care including cord clamping preferences, newborn procedures, skin-to-skin contact, and feeding goals. You'll leave our session with a beautifully formatted, easy-to-read birth plan that clearly communicates your preferences to your medical team while keeping you informed and empowered for your birth experience.

Bengkung Belly Binding
A traditional Malaysian postpartum practice that has been used across cultures for centuries to support the body, womb, and nervous system after birth. It involves wrapping a long piece of cloth snugly around the abdomen and hips to support the body's natural healing process. This gentle, time-honored ritual supports core and pelvic recovery, encourages womb healing and closure, improves posture, and provides grounding and emotional support during one of the most tender transitions of your life. Each session includes a short intention-setting moment to honor your birth experience and set an intention for what you'd like to release or honor as you step into motherhood, a calming essential oil diffuser with your choice of scent, the warm glow of Himalayan salt rocks lamp, and a gentle scalp or hand massage while you rest after binding — because you deserve to feel held too.
