I’m a birth and postpartum doula serving families throughout the Baltimore, DC, Southern Pennsylvania, and Southern Maryland areas. My work is rooted in one core belief: when a mother is deeply supported, nurtured, and cared for, she is better able to care for her baby and step into motherhood with confidence and grace. I specialize in supporting mothers through some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of life — including high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), chronic illness, pregnancy after loss, and complex postpartum recovery. My background in psychiatric rehabilitation counseling allows me to bring a unique understanding of emotional health, nervous system support, and compassionate care into the birth world. My approach is deeply intuitive, trauma-informed, and mother-centered. I believe birth is not just a medical event — it is a life-changing human experience that deserves respect, advocacy, emotional safety, and individualized support. Whether I’m supporting a laboring mother through transition, helping a postpartum mother heal after a cesarean, assisting with feeding challenges, or simply making sure a family feels seen and cared for, my goal is always the same: to “mother the mother.” I offer both birth and postpartum doula services, including overnight and daytime support, prenatal education, emotional support, recovery guidance, feeding support, and practical care for growing families. I am especially passionate about helping women trust themselves again after difficult experiences and creating spaces where mothers feel safe, empowered, and genuinely held. Beyond my work with clients, I’m passionate about maternal mental health advocacy, improving the birth experience for women, and creating honest conversations around motherhood, healing, and the realities of postpartum life. My work combines evidence-based education with warmth, intuition, humor, and deep compassion. At the heart of everything I do is the belief that mothers deserve quality care. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed birth and postpartum doula support for mothers who want to feel truly seen, supported, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and recovery. With a background in psychiatric rehabilitation counseling and specialized experience supporting high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, chronic illness, and feeding challenges, my approach blends evidence-based education with intuitive, mother-centered care. My mission is simple: to nurture the mother so she can step into motherhood feeling safe, confident, and deeply supported.
Jenny is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and caring. She really took the time to explain everything and gave me a ton of useful resources and information. I highly recommend her!

Jenny is incredible! She is so genuine and compassionate and is incredibly knowledgeable about birth. I attended one of her postpartum groups and did birth processing sessions with her and both experiences were so healing for me.

Jenny was truly my right-hand during my pregnancy. From late-night conversations about aches and pains to navigating life with my older kids while preparing to become a new mom again, she was there through it all. Her calm and steady presence during high-stress moments made such a difference, and she was an incredible advocate for me throughout my birth experience. I can’t recommend Jenny enough 🤍

I cannot recommend Jenny enough as a doula. She was absolutely amazing throughout my labor and delivery experience. She gave the most amazing massages that helped me stay calm, relaxed, and comfortable throughout labor. Her support made such a huge difference and truly helped me have the best labor and delivery experience possible.

We had a wonderful experience with Jenny as our night doula. She cared for our newborn daughter over the course of a month and a half. She was communicative, prompt, and immediately put us at ease with her warm and reassuring presence. Not only was she a help to us in caring for our daughter overnight, but she always made sure to check in with me and how I was doing postpartum, and was generally just lovely to chat with and get to know. Her professionalism, trustworthiness, and knowledge were evident from the start, and she handled everything with such care and attention. We felt completely supported, and can't recommend her highly enough!

Jenny is absolutely incredible! As a new dad I had a host of questions about pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum. Jenny made me feel validated and no questions was a "dumb" question for her. She has an impressively vast knowledge on maternal care and really understands the needs of new parents. My wife and I had plenty of anxieties before my wife went into labor and Jenny made really put my mind, and my wife's mind at ease. She has an incredible gift of balancing professionalism with deep-hearted care for her clients. I would definitely recommend Jenny for anyone who is currently expecting a baby or thinking about starting a family.

Jenny is a grade A doula. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to provide a wealth of information and resources. She also has a warm bedside manner, is dedicated and very reliable. She was able to help alleviate my anxiety and she even came to the hospital during a snow storm!

Jenny is the ultimate birthing women's advocate. She's stable and present, and always prioritizes the mama's needs above all. She's caring and nurturing and has great practical advice, as well. Likewise, her niche as a post partum doula is a service rarely found, and is helpful in supporting mothers after birth, especially if they've had a negative birth experience.

Jenny has been amazing to work with. She's very caring and looks after each of her clients in a way the works with each of them. It's great to get to know Jenny during this time
