Hi, my name is Jennifer Welk. I’m a wife, mother of three, and proud grandmother of two. I work as a Community Education Coordinator and also volunteer as an EMT with the Remer, MN ambulance service. I've always had a love for pregnancy and birth. Becoming a Doula has been a long-time dream of mine, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently completed my Doula training. I'm passionate about supporting women through labor and delivery. My goal is to make a positive difference in each birth experience by offering calmness, compassion, care, and words of encouragement. I believe every birthing person deserves to feel supported, empowered, and heard—and I’m honored to be part of that journey. As part of completing my certification, I am currently seeking the opportunity to attend three births as a Doula. If you or someone you know is interested in having a supportive, caring presence during labor and delivery, I would be honored to be part of that experience.

English
A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a birthing person and their partner before, during, and after childbirth. They don't perform any clinical tasks but offer comfort measures, reassurance, and help facilitate communication with medical staff. Doulas aim to empower the birthing person, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and informed throughout the entire process.
