About me
Hello love! My name is Heidi, I was raised in Queens, NY & living in Florida since 2008. I love coffee, my camera, books, nature walks with my husband and cuddles with our fur baby Leo. When I am not cuddling with Leo I spend a lot of my time nurturing my deeply growing passion for my work as a birth doula & photography, My heart's calling is mothering the mother during the threshold that IS giving birth. I bring a grandmother presence to the room, I am here in loving service to you, to be present and guide you because birth can be hard and a lot of work, but it can also be extremely magical and deeply empowering. I can remember My first encounter with Birth as a photographer and it was that moment I knew how precious and significant birth is, from then on all I wanted was to be a part of those Magical moments with my camera or/and as a birth doula. Being a doula is being in service to the Mother-and it would be my honor to be chosen and given the opportunity to cross paths during one of the most life changing altering experiences a woman can experience and that is YOU now. congratulations! life is a Miracle and it is you! <3

Motherhood is Magical and otherworldly, as a doula and birth keeper, this path is my heart’s devotion and a deeply growing passion. I have a provisional certification that I am currently in training, as well as a mentorship program that is equipping with all the knowledge, professional training, and wisdom from very experienced doulas. I am also the administrator for a reputable private behavioral health practice in Broward County. I view my role as someone that holds and creates space for the family’s nervous system and primarily for the mother and baby’s emotional wellbeing by providing a calming guiding voice and a loving stare in the eyes; as well as the certitude in the moments that require courage and love. It’s important for the mother when she feels empty or feels lost and needs guiding support and ease without foregoing her own needs and well-being in the process. Even though birth is instinctual and innate to our bodies we are made for community and to be witnessed in our rawest, most vulnerable and powerful self. My desire is for my presence to mirror back to the mother the power she carries I am also a Birth and Family Photographer; I am deeply passionate about capturing the purest and rawest moments of love as a witness during births. Being a witness during a birth for a family is truly life changing and capturing those moments with photos is a deep passion of mine.
