About me

I’m a birth and postpartum doula with a background in psychology, counseling, and breath-centered yoga—and I believe in the power women have to birth our babies. Birth is a profound experience that we carry with us our whole lives. I’m here to support you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, as well as through all the emotions that surround this time. I certified with ProDoula as a Labor Doula and Postpartum and Infant Care Doula. I also incorporate the Spinning Babies® approach to help baby find a good position in your pelvis for birth (and bring you relief as well). Having lived and worked abroad for many years, and birthed one baby of my own abroad, I have developed a flexible, open-minded approach to caring for families with different values and preferences. I’m also fluent in German! I care deeply about maternal mental health and the well-being of the entire family. Whether this is your first baby or not, I want you to feel supported and empowered bringing your little one into this world.

I offer birth and postpartum support for you and your family. Yoga techniques - like Asana and Pranayama - are included with services if wished; they can be very supportive to pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I fully believe you will carry your experience of this time with you forever and will remember being cared for. I offer space for you to express your feelings and provide comforting and practical support.
