Couldn’t be more grateful for the support from Elizabeth & Amy! I hired them as my doula team and it was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth experience. We had 2 prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit, and they answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. As a first-time mom who had an OB, I felt strongly pulled to hire them for extra support - and I’m so thankful I followed that instinct. Thanks to Elizabeth, I had an unmedicated birth. She believed in me when I needed it most and guided me through every contraction with so much calm and confidence. I delivered a healthy baby girl (6 lbs 9 oz), and I will always be grateful for the role she played in one of the most important days of my life. They offer 24/7 WhatsApp support - even months after birth - which made my partner and I feel supported and never alone during early parenthood. They are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, relatable, and genuinely wonderful people. Amy is also super tech-savvy, so everything felt organized and seamless from start to finish. I truly felt cared for as a new mom. I would highly, highly recommend them. The whole experience was amazing!

We hired the Doula Duo to help us plan ahead for the arrival of our second! As we don’t have a “village” to lean on, we needed a back up option to act as a “sibling doula” to watch our pre-schooler in case our planned family member couldn’t make it on the day of the birth. Amy was always QUICK to respond to messages and came to meet us at our home to ensure we felt super comfortable before the birth. We simply needed someone in our corner and she was the perfect fit! My husband and I are so grateful for the peace she brought us… knowing we didn’t have to worry when the time finally came! I would HIGHLY recommend the Doula Duo whether it’s your first, second, third and so on… and there IS such a thing as a “sibling doula” to help with the kids that you already have at home, if needed!

Amy and Elizabeth are wonderful people and wonderful doulas. We are using them for postpartum support and not only do they alleviate the stress and uncertainty of having our first baby, but they are helping us understand developmental milestones and increasing everyone's comfort. I had Amy come in for me and my family in the first few weeks of having my second child. From the moment she walked in, she made herself a part of our home. She seamlessly looked after our 4 year old son, took care of laundry, cleaning and even cooked breakfast for us. She was always supportive, warm and okay to go with the flow and what worked for our family. We were able to sit together and enjoy our newborn which would have been impossible without her. All to say, Amy is a wonderful postpartum doula and I would recommend her to anyone looking for genuine care and support. I am forever grateful for having her in our lives. The birth of our daughter was attended by the ever magnificent Amy of the doula duo. Our hiring process was seamless, and both Amy & Elizabeth answered the many questions both my husband and I had before we had them join our birth team. We were a high risk, first time pregnancy, to a beautiful baby girl with a multiple obstacles to overcome, to say we had some fears is an understatement. Amy attended our birth at OSMH and came when contractions were just starting to get hot n heavy - perfectly timed as all the preparations we had, had just gone out the window (In terms of movement, and comfort for myself, and the mental load on my partner) Amy guided me through various poses to support my body through contractions, helping guide me through the intensities until I reached time to push. She was pivotal in supporting my husband through the hardest moments and really advocated for my decision to go medication free, even when I questioned my ability. She brought a kit of useful tools (thank GOODNESS for the fans) and a calm, loving, tender demeanour, with a firm, helpful and supportive attitude. Looking back on the birth of my daughter I can’t imagine not having Amy’s grounding and loving presence. She helped guide me through moments of self doubt, breath through the waves of intensity, and revel in the miracle of our girls arrival. For anyone on the fence, or unsure if hiring a doula is for you - I cannot recommend enough, your birth team is pivotal, wether @ hospital, or home, and I wouldn’t bring another baby into this world without the support of an incredible doula like Amy by my side (or front, of behind) lol So grateful for you Amy!!

Having Amy & Elizabeth as our Doulas was one of the best decisions we may during our pregnancy journey. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the whole labour process (and leading up to it) and still keep in touch with us today. Amy was present at my delivery and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her there, she provided amazing support to both myself and my partner to help us get through a very difficult time. We are very grateful to have met both of them and highly recommend them! ❤️

These ladies were wonderful to work with. I dealt mostly with Elizabeth. Sleep can be a very stressful thing and they helped get my twins on a nap schedule and improve their nighttime sleep. I would recommend reaching out if you’re considering a doula.

I could not recommend the Doula Duo enough! Both Elizabeth and Amy are warm, caring individuals, who come with a wealth of personal and professional experience that they bring to your in person connects and offline conversations. After meeting them the first day, I felt like I've known them forever. For my actual delivery, it was Elizabeth who ended up attending and both my husband and I agreed that she was critical to helping me get through the unmedicated vaginal birth that I wanted. She was cool, calm and collected, providing me nudges, tools, and emotional and physical support that I needed throughout my labour. Given our great experience so far, we've also enlisted Amy for overnight support to help me get some rest as a new mom. Highly recommend!

I am a Grandma that still works full-time. It was heartbreaking for me to watch my daughter come home with a newborn and struggle with anxiety and little to no sleep. Amy was a Godsend! She would arrive at 10 PM and leave at 6 AM allowing my daughter to get the rest she desperately needed. Amy gave wonderful care to both my daughter and the baby.
