About me

I’m Ekei, a birth and wellness professional devoted to nurturing, advocating for, and empowering families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My calling began at 13, when I supported my sister during the birth of her child and first witnessed the sacred strength of bringing life into the world. I’m a RYT 200 Hatha Yoga Instructor, a Full Spectrum Doula trained through I Be Black Girl, and CPR-certified through the American Heart Association. I offer trauma-informed, culturally grounded care rooted in the legacy of my great-grandmother Naomi, “Moma”, and the Black Grand Midwives who served their communities with unmatched skill and compassion. Today, as a Birthworker, I support families of all backgrounds, especially Black, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent parents through yoga, birth planning, education, and hands-on doula care. My mission is simple: to make every birthing person feel safe, respected, and deeply supported. You are worth every petal

Services include prenatal support, continuous labor care, postpartum planning, breastfeeding support, and informed advocacy. Care is trauma-aware, culturally responsive, and rooted in tradition, with a focus on uplifting Black families and underserved communities.
