About me

Eden is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant(IBCLC). She has been working with breastfeeding families for 10 years, and her experience includes working in a NICU environment, pediatric office, outpatient clinic and in-home setting. Eden provides care for common breastfeeding concerns such as latch difficulty and early mother-baby separation at birth. She also provides care, support, and follow up for complex lactation challenges such as tethered oral tissues(infant tongue/lip tie), breastfeeding the preterm infant, low milk supply, IGT and relactation.

Getting breastfeeding off to a good start is important to your breastfeeding success long-term. If you are unsure if your baby is breastfeeding well, have concerns such as nipple damage, nipple pain, low milk supply, tongue or lip tie or your pediatrician has concerns of your baby’s weight progress, it’s important to book a consult right away so we can set you up with a plan as soon as possible. You can expect a feeding assessment, pre and post feed transfer weight, breast exam and oral assessment. You can also expect education and assistance on positioning your baby for a comfortable latch, effective milk transfer, normal breastfeeding progress, identifying effective feeds, effective breast drainage, normal infant growth and maintaining your supply long-term. If needed, we may schedule a follow up for ongoing, complex lactation difficulties.
