My name is Jessica and I am honored to be considered as your Doula for this monumental time. My work as a Doula is focused on supporting my clients by leading with love and inclusivity, with the belief that we all have various life experiences, and regardless of those, every client of mine deserves to be loved, heard, included, and empowered to stand for their beliefs in and outside of the labor room with a constant, and reliable support. I have a true passion for obtaining and sharing evidence-based information to work with my clients to make a plan for their ideal labor and delivery as well as the postpartum period. Additionally, I equip my clients through prenatal visits and ongoing communication with information about laboring and birthing positions as well as different types of comfort measures and anything else they may need to feel comfortable. I have a strong belief that every birth experience is unique and special, and understand the tenderness of the moment for mom, baby and family. I have always been called to help and care for others. In my life I have been fortunate to experience and learn about pregnancy, labor and postpartum through others experiences before my own experience in birthing my son just under two years ago. Going through the uncertainty, intense emotions and challenges of pregnancy, birth and parenthood has brought me back to my passion of giving back to my community as a Birth Doula. Outside of being a Doula, I love to spend time with my family, traveling, eating good food and exercising outside. I cannot wait to get to know you more! Congrats on your growing family!

Jessica was incredible and absolutely invaluable in my labor/birth experience. She was there for me during my pregnancy and provided many helpful resources to prepare for birth and if she didn't have a recommendation off-hand she would do research & ask other doulas for recommendations which was much appreciated because as a first time mom new to the area I trusted her research and recommendations for things such as local chiropractors and birth classes. Then during my actual labor she was there for me the whole 53 hours. She had prepared a backup doula on-call who was with me for the beginning of my labor and then once Jessica was back from her vacation she immediately came to the hospital to switch out with her backup, showing how much she truly cared about us because she could've just allowed her backup to stay with me during my labor but instead she came and took over! She provided wonderful emotional support and fantastic hands-on physical support. She was also an incredible liaison between us and the staff; advocating for my birth plan/preferences, asking to give me time to make decisions, and giving me trusted counsel based on the suggestions of the hospital staff. I appreciated so much how in tune she was with me and my birth journey, she knew my wishes but also was flexible and pivoted based on the everchanging situations. She also was a great support for my husband and helped guide him through my birth as well. I would definitely recommend Jessica to anyone in need of a doula and I truly believe she helped make my birth experience as positive as possible even though it was far from my ideal experience due to unforeseen circumstances. So thankful for her genuine care and support!

Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

After switching OBs midway through pregnancy we decided to find a doula for some consistency and comfort in the delivery room. What we got from Melissa was so much more. She supported us through unexpected changes, prepared us for possibilities we didn't know existed, and walked us through our options to help us make informed decisions when we felt lost. I honestly don't know that I could've made it through labor without her. She made it possible for us to be calm and mentally present for what otherwise would've been the most stressful and chaotic 14 hours of our lives. On the rare occasion she doesn't have the tools to help you, she has a connection who does. I reached out to her in tears with breastfeeding complications my first day home from the hospital and she had me on the phone with a lactation specialist in her network within an hour. When our last visit with her ended, we cried that it was over. Hiring Melissa was the best decision we've made, maybe ever.

I love Jesus and I am a deeply empathetic person. I believe in the sanctity of life, that all human beings are fearfully and wonderfully made. My goal is to love and serve expectant mothers and families with exceptional support and to help them have a birth experience they can feel good about. I am here to help you navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with confidence, education, and joy.

Working with Sarah was an absolute blessing during one of the most important moments of our lives. Sarah was not only knowledgeable and supportive but also incredibly compassionate. Her calming presence and reassuring words made a world of difference throughout the entire birthing process. She provided emotional support, helpful advice, and ensured my partner and I felt empowered every step of the way. The photos they took are not just pictures but powerful memories that we will cherish forever. Sarah's ability to capture intimate moments without being intrusive was remarkable. She was attentive to our preferences and captured every emotion and detail perfectly. I cannot thank Sarah enough for her incredible support during the birth of my last pregnancy. She is truly a gem and we are so thankful to have had her!

Hi, I’m Christina Nurse. Doula. Educator. RYT 200. Mother. Air Force Veteran. And a lifelong student of the sacred unfolding of birth. I believe birth is a threshold—a place where time softens, the soul speaks, and the body remembers how to open. My journey began in the hospital, serving birthing people as a labor and postpartum nurse. There, I witnessed both the strength of the human spirit and the ways modern care can overlook the deeper layers of the birthing experience—the heart, the spirit… the knowing. What I longed to offer was more than clinical care. I wanted to blend evidence-based practice with intuition—to hold space for both the science and the soul of birth. So I stepped out of sterile rooms and into the sacred work of bridging that gap—and founded Nest & Soul. Text 719-370-9335 to connect!

Christina was my doula for my third birth and I am beyond happy with the care she provided my baby and myself before, during and after my delivery. After having a traumatic birth experience with my second, I knew I wanted to hire a doula as extra support for my third birth. Christina met and exceeded all of my expectations: she gave me tools to mentally prepare for my third birth that lead to me having my most beautiful birth yet. I especially loved that she wasn’t negative towards me getting an induction when it became medically necessary, and she supported me every step of the way. Her education and additional certifications provided me with information and options that I believe prevented unnecessary interventions. She is not only extremely wise, but also professional and kind. I’m so happy I made the decision to have her as my doula, and I will be recommending her to everyone I know!

Liz Derry Cox

Hi, I’m Liz Derry Cox, CPM, LM. I’ve been a nurse since 1997 and a licensed midwife and DONA trained doula since 2010, and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk alongside women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I believe pregnancy and birth are normal, healthy life events, and that women deserve care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal. Every family has a unique story, and I strive to make sure each client feels heard, respected, informed, and supported every step of the way. My approach combines the wisdom of midwifery with years of clinical experience. I take time to truly listen, answer questions thoroughly, and help families make informed decisions that align with their values. Whether you’re planning your first baby or have given birth before, my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that builds confidence rather than fear. I believe that when women are supported physically, emotionally, and educationally, they are more likely to experience a healthier pregnancy, a positive birth, and a smoother transition into parenthood. It is an honor to be trusted with such an important season of life, and I look forward to supporting your family on that journey. I intentionally limit the total number of families I serve each month across all of my services—including midwifery, doula support, and pregnancy coaching. This allows me to provide unhurried, relationship-based care, be readily available when questions arise, and truly get to know each family I have the privilege of serving. My goal is for you to never feel like just another client, but to feel known, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey.

Liz was absolutely amazing as my midwife during the birth of my first child. Her calm presence and genuine care made the entire experience feel safe and supported. I’ve reached out to her many times since then for guidance on pregnancy, postpartum, nutrition, etc., and she always offers her wisdom with warmth and honesty. In this world where mothers often struggle to feel heard, she has created a special space of comfort, understanding, and compassion ❤️

Hi! I'm Lisa! I'm a Christian Doula and Childbirth Educator in SE Aurora, CO. Right now I'm offering birth support in all birth settings (as long as you have a midwife or OB), and Childbirth Education in my home or your home! My faith is the foundation for my life, and most of my clients find and choose me because I stand strong in Biblical truth and moral values. I am a mom of 5, and wife to a husband who is a systems engineer, so I have great perspective as a mother and can relate well to new dads that might be more analytical and logic-minded. Music, art, reading, and all things creative are my hobbies, and I love to spend time in nature. I have experience supporting families with every kind of birth plan, from natural home birth, to hospital epidural birth, to planned cesarean. My favorite kind of birth to support is YOURS. I truly believe that you know what's best for your body and your baby, and I'm here for it!

Lisa provided me support and guidance while I was pregnant with my first child. Working with Lisa was a huge boost to my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of concerns and anxiety. I appreciated being able to ask Lisa questions and hear about her experiences as a doula. It gave me an idea of what I could expect at the hospital where I was planning to deliver. She assisted me in formulating a Birth Plan. (Ultimately, we didn’t end up using this, but the process of writing it made me consider some important issues such as whether I wanted a medicated or unmedicated birth.) The biggest benefit from working with Lisa was learning how to help my body during pregnancy. I am a very go-go-go type of person and as a result, I was twisting my back in all sorts of bad ways. Lisa assisted me in doing pregnancy-safe stretches to help ease the discomfort and eventually referred me to a local, trusted chiropractor who did absolute WONDERS to relieve the pain I was experiencing. I am thankful for Lisa’s service and have fond memories of being her client.

Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified birth doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout pregnancy and labor. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 60 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes & Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!!

In November 2025 my beautiful daughter Amanda came into the world and the whole pregnancy I asked God to allow me to have a non-medicated, respected and as physiological birth as possible. Thanks to the support that Chrystal gave me from my third trimester I was able to reposition my baby in the uterus for a vaginal delivery and learn to breathe correctly, a resource that changed the game during my delivery. During labor Chrystal assisted me with pain management techniques and I was able to have my baby without the need to use an epidural as I longed for. She made my husband and me a team, she made us feel safer and more accompanied. He also took photos of us that I will treasure forever, very beautiful. If I have another child I will want to count on her again. Do not hesitate to contact her.

I'm a licensed homebirth midwife serving Boulder, Longmont, the Peak-to-Peak and Northern Colorado. I've been attending births since 2001 and launched my midwifery practice in 2009. I'm an Enneagram 3; Capricorn Sun, Libra Moon & Libra Rising; and Empress Tarot archetype. When I work with families in the perinatal time, we engage in a soul-level contract together. I love holding space as women go deeply within and are transformed by the sacred space of birth. I value informed decision-making, critical thinking, connection, and hugs. Learning and sharing knowledge brings me joy. I'm trained in several Bodywork modalities: craniosacral and myofascial release, and the Arvigo techniques of Maya abdominal therapy. It's a great honor to teach at birth conferences and lead classes & workshops in my community. I bring extensive knowledge of herbs, homeopathy, flower essences and nutritional supplements. Being truly holistic, I also use conventional medicine when indicated. I'm a married mother of two home-birthed and naturally raised children. I'm also an herbalist, gardener, hiker and rollerblader.

Adrienne is an incredible human and midwife -- we are eternally grateful we found her! She is supportive, warm, wise, funny, relatable, patient, knowledgable, and grounded. We had a dream water birth at home! And a great start with our newborn baby boy. We used a different midwife with our daughter and the difference was so vast -- Adrienne made me feel so supported and safe, and I know that helped us have the birth we desired. I also loved all the little touches Adrienne did, like postpartum snack mixes for digestion, the "closing the bones" ceremony at 6 weeks, and the placenta art just to name a few. I wish we were having another baby and that we could work with Adrienne again!

First, I am a Christian; a follower of Jesus, and I believe in the miracle of life and the privilege of pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a natural and normal process. I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. My experience has been on the labor & delivery floor at Denver Health as a volunteer and staff doula, and I have supported 6 private births in the past year. I am looking to gain more experience as a private doula, specifically in the birth center and home birth settings, that is why I do not list hospital births as an option. In my private business I'm interested in working with women and their families that want to put in the work required to have an empowering and positive natural childbirth experience when there is no option for an epidural. By that I mean those who have taken classes such as Lamaze, Birthing from Within, Hypnobirthing and Hypnobabies or watched videos on natural childbirth from sources like Bridget Teyler or Mama Natural on YouTube. In addition , those that are committed to the regular exercises, routines and preparations that I believe are necessary for a birthing experience that won't leave you feeling traumatized. That's not to say a woman cannot decide on a natural experience, do no prep work and still have a positive birth without an epidural, because I've seen it happen, but it's rare. If you want to put in the work for a pregnancy and birth that will change how you understand yourself, your health inside and out, and give you a life long dose of empowering confidence that only the miracle of life can provide than please consider me as your doula to support that journey. I am happy to support families with multiple prenatal visits, birth, and a postpartum visit at the time of your choosing. Thank you for your consideration and congratulations!

As a doula my goal is to help you realize your vision for a successful birth, to hold up the light so that you can better walk the path you choose on this journey. My wide ranging experience in birth settings has taught me that every birth is unique and that when parents feel informed and supported by their care team they are able to experience birth as a joyful and peaceful experience whether all goes to plan or not. I have been DONA certified for 3 years and in that time have attended over 100 births in all birth settings and worked though a wide range of birth scenarios. I am a very hands-on doula as I love to study and understand the physiology of labor. I study Spinning babies, massage and rebozo techniques as well as breathing and hypnobirthing and bring these skills as tools to use in the process of labor. Growing up I lived in a small progressive hippy community where birth was very much seen as a part of life. The local midwife lived next door and her stories and approach to what she did raised me to see birth as a symptom of health and that birthing people should always have constant loving support during labor. I have wanted to work in birth for as long as I can remember and I believe wholeheartedly in the doula model of care. Now that my own 2 children are older I have jumped into the birth world with both feet and am passionately committed to my calling.

Bethany Dickson is the reason I had the exact birth I wanted. We worked with Bethany for the birth of our first baby, and I would absolutely work with her again. My goal was to have an unmedicated birth, but what mattered most to me was that my birth plan was respected fully — including that if I asked for an epidural or any medical intervention, Bethany would support that without question. She was 100% aligned with this approach from the very beginning and never once tried to push me toward a different path. That trust and respect meant everything. Bethany supported us well before labor even began. We met multiple times to connect and set expectations, she provided examples and a template to help me write my birth plan, and she shared resources and videos showing different positions for laboring. When I was laboring at home, she was available by phone and offered specific guidance and positions to try. Once I arrived at labor and delivery, things got intense quickly. The nurses were offering an epidural, and I started to doubt whether I could really have an unmedicated birth. One nurse even said, “No one gets a prize for having an unmedicated birth,” which honestly made me feel like they didn’t believe I could do it, and in that moment, I wasn’t sure I believed it either. Even though I was wavering, I wanted to wait until Bethany arrived to see if working with a doula could change things. Bethany’s presence changed everything. I got into the tub to labor, and Bethany arrived shortly after. From the moment she walked in, the entire energy of the room shifted. She immediately took charge in the best possible way — dimmed the lights, turned on the LED candles, gave my husband a clear role (i.e., she coached my husband to be involved rather than replacing him), and focused fully on me. Her confidence was unwavering. She knew I could do this, and that belief gave me the strength to do it. She handed me labor combs, guided my breathing (breathing with me the entire time), and helped me stay grounded in my body. My only job was to follow her lead — and I did, all the way through full dilation and pushing. I stayed unmedicated, not because I felt pressured, but because I felt supported, safe, and capable. My pushing phase was short and Bethany was right by my side the entire time, alongside my husband and medical team. The room felt calm and coordinated: Bethany worked seamlessly with my nurses and doctor, never overstepping and never being sidelined. It felt like a true team effort, and I felt fully supported by everyone in the room. After our baby was born, Bethany gently showed me how to breastfeed as my newborn crawled to my breast. She took photos without ever being asked; photos we cherish deeply today. She made sure everything was settled, said a quick goodbye and then quietly slipped out so we could have privacy during our golden hour. She arrived at exactly the right moment, did exactly what we needed without us having to ask, and then stepped away without making anything about herself. Bethany is confident, grounded, deeply caring, and genuinely joyful for the families she supports. She has an incredible ability to be fully in command while also being deeply attuned to her clients’ needs and wishes, and to recognizing when something may need to shift to support their labor goals. Beyond the birth itself, Bethany also set us up for success postpartum. Before I even had the baby, she provided an extensive list of resources (e.g., postpartum recipes; mental health referrals; lactation and breastfeeding support; pelvic floor specialists; and more). By the time I needed those resources, I didn’t have to scramble or research anything; I already had my library of tools ready to support me. Bethany is an incredible fit for anyone looking for strong, confident support from someone who honors your autonomy and works seamlessly with a medical team. I truly had the exact birth I wanted because of Bethany’s support. If you are considering working with her, know that you will be cared for with intention, confidence, respect, and love — before, during, and after birth.
