Hello, I'm a queer and trans full-spectrum doula working in Houston, TX. Full-spectrum means that I am trained and experienced in supporting families through the whole range of pregnancy experiences, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and/or abortion. All of my work is grounded in supporting folks in creating the families they want, when they want to, and how they want to. This looks like: accompanying you through the many decision points in your pregnancy and parenting journey, providing emotional and logistical care throughout this time of great transformation, and making sure you are connected to the resources you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.

As a birth doula, I would arrange for 3 prenatal visits with you and your family to get to know your goals and make plans for your birth and postpartum. Starting at 38 wks, I would be on call and available by text + call 24/7. I provide labor support at home and/or wherever you decide to birth your baby. I offer 1 postpartum visit and would be available by text + call up to 4 wks postpartum. As a postpartum doula, I would arrange for 2-3 prenatal visits to get to know your goals and make plans for your postpartum. I would provide up to 6 wks of postpartum visits, amounting to up to 60 hrs of appointment time. And of course, I would be available by text + call up to 6 weeks postpartum.
Chloe supported me and my family in our postpartum phase, almost immediately after birth and for several months. Their support was instrumental for my recovery as a birthing parent, with two small children (2 and 5 years old). They stepped in with care, reliability, adaptability, and a steady, calm presence that was grounding for us all in a moment of natural instability with so many shifts and changes for our family. Chloe was able to coordinate with my partner about what was most needed each day they were over, which was daily for the first two weeks. They took turns between childcare, for my older children, and helping care for me, and my newborn. I trusted Chloe deeply, and they witnessed me in deeply tender, vulnerable moments, offering me nutritious yummy food to eat, and an open heart as I went through the highs and lows of my postpartum season. They came in with so much love, respect, and reverence, but not "just" that, they also brought with them many skills in caregiving during postpartum, and caregiving of babies and small children. We are all very grateful to Chloe and the gifts of care they brought us through a much important (extended) moment in our family. As a birthing parent, I felt deeply held by them. As a parent of littles, I felt trusting of their interactions with my children. As a partner, I felt appreciation for how they actively considered my partner's needs, too. I wish Chloe could've been a part of my previous postpartum seasons, too! And I am glad they will continue to share their gifts with birthers and their families through these delicate, sacred moments of reproductive events (and all their possible outcomes!).
