Hi! I’m Sydney, the founder of The Village Doula Collective, LLC. My journey into birth work began nearly a decade ago while working as a nanny. What started as childcare evolved into something deeper—I found myself supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I realized how much I loved being part of that transformative time. That experience led me to become a doula, and since then, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate, informed, and inclusive care. I am a certified full-spectrum doula, trained through the Somatic Arts & Sciences Institute, with additional education from organizations such as Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and Birth Advocacy Doula Training. I also received my Lactation Education Specialist training from Santiago Canyon College. I’ve had the honor of attending births and supporting families through postpartum recovery, and my passion for this work continues to grow. With a bachelor’s degree in sociology, I understand that birth support is not just about physical care—it’s about addressing the systemic disparities that impact birthing people, particularly in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. My mission is to make doula care accessible and equitable, ensuring that every family—regardless of income, background, or identity—has the support they need. My focus is natural birth. • My path into birth work was shaped in part by a background in environmental science, where I learned to observe and trust complex, self-regulating systems. I believe the best way to minimize interventions and complications is through prevention as labor unfolds, and in pregnancy by preparing holistically with a focus on your well being, integrating practices and lifestyle shifts to support you in birth and motherhood. My approach is responsive rather than directive, creating space for your instincts and your body to lead. I work with a small number of families at a time, allowing for genuine relationship, continuity of care, and presence from pregnancy through the early phases of postpartum. Families who feel drawn to my work are often seeking a deeper understanding of how their body functions in birth, and a kind of support that respects both the physical and emotional landscape of the experience. Whether you are preparing for your first birth or integrating previous experiences, I meet you where you are with care, clarity, and respect.

Noelle Kliebe of Chico Doula serves with a heart to bring peace, perspective, and helpful presence into the birth space. Since getting her BA in 2005, Noelle has been an educator for 20+ years, including several years of living and teaching internationally. Her passion in birth work began in 2009 with the birth of her first child. She is a certified Global Birth Community doula. Noelle especially enjoys supporting moms with Medi-Cal and Partnership Health Plan and she considers it a true honor to be invited into the transformative perinatal time. Recognizing that birth is a profound, life-changing experience, Noelle’s goal is to work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure informed and personalized care. Noelle started Chico Doula with families in mind. She helps moms make informed decisions about their birth experience, free from any imposed agenda.

Providing the best for our future generation during the fundamental years is essential for maximizing potential and fostering community while positively influencing humanity as a whole. I am trained and educated in well woman health and newborn growth and development. I am IBCLC to assist with breastfeeding dyad concerns and challenges.
