I am someone who truly listens to what moms want and need. I believe that every future mother should not only be able to have a birth plan but that every birth plan goes as planned. I am a mother of 3. I have had 3 sections but also know what it’s like to have dreams of wanting to have a vbac and not being successful. Just because my birth plan wasn’t successful doesn’t mean yours has to be too.
SHE DOES AMAZING BABY PICTURES THANK YOU GIRL

I help sleep deprived parents master the art of getting their newborns and toddlers to sleep through the night and improve daytime sleep by using age appropriate, gentle sleep approaches catered to your child. I am a certified baby + toddler sleep consultant helping parents (like you) reclaim your sleep and your sanity by providing proven techniques that will improve the quality of you and your baby's sleep patterns. My passion is for helping others. I know first hand what it's like to be an exhausted, frustrated parent just trying to get through each day with a child who refuses naps, wakes often throughout the night and is inconsolable. I want to help parents out there, not just get through each day, but LOVE each day with your child, and that starts with better sleep for everyone. I can't wait to meet you and learn all about your family!

Hello! I'm a Certified Postpartum doula and newborn care specialist in the Richmond Virginia area specializing in overnight care! I've been a doula now for 7 years and before that was a professional career nanny for over 20 years. I love helping families navigate the 4th trimester by allowing the household to get much needed rest while I take care of baby(ies.) I offer extensive experience with twins and triplets, lactation educator to help with breastfeeding support, and culturally competent evidence based care!
Jennifer is knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and a newborn expert! It is evident from the care she provides that she has extensive experience in newborn care. I was so grateful to have her as I navigated postpartum with my second child. She is the only person I trusted to care for my newborn and toddler together and will be overnight nannying for my kids for two weeks while we are out of the country. There is literally no one else that I would trust with this ask!

Hi, I’m Morgan, a birth doula with a deep passion for supporting women through the sacred and powerful journey of pregnancy and birth. Outside of birth work, you can often find me hiking, camping, traveling, walking my two corgis, reading, spending time with my husband and son, or serving my church and local community. My heart for women’s health began during my very first OB/GYN appointment as a teenager, when I had to navigate a complicated diagnosis and a series of confusing and often scary interactions with specialists. Years later, after facing complications during the birth of my son, my passion for informed care and patient advocacy only grew stronger. That experience not only taught me the importance of understanding my health and my options, but it also deepened my trust in the Lord. Through it all, my faith grew as I leaned into His strength during a season full of unknowns. Since then, I’ve become deeply committed to helping women feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their reproductive journeys. My journey led me to work on a research team developing an intrauterine balloon stent to help treat Asherman’s Syndrome—a role that involved shadowing OB/GYNs and midwives and sparked a deeper appreciation for the science behind pregnancy and birth. I truly believe that birth is not only fascinating from a medical standpoint, but also incredibly beautiful and sacred. Today, I feel called to walk alongside women in their most vulnerable and transformative moments—offering education, advocacy, and unwavering support as they step into motherhood.
Morgan is a wonderful doula with a heart for her clients and a heart for the Lord! Having been through a difficult birth with her little guy, she is knowledgeable and helpful in navigating births of different scenarios.

☀️Hey everyone!☀️ 👋🏼I thought I’d reintroduce myself to the new folks to my page. 💗My name is Yasmine. I am a local full spectrum (birth and postpartum) doula and midwife assistant trained. 🤰🏻My love for pregnancy and birth started when I was a little girl. I was the oldest sibling of 4 and oldest to a million cousins😂. When I was pregnant with my 1st born, I was unsure of what a doula was. I submerged myself with so much research on pregnancy and the birth process. When I became pregnant with my 2nd, I found myself being a doula for friends and mutual friends. During that time, I also searched for a doula for myself and found that I could not afford one out of pocket, as I was on Medicaid. After helping more friends during pregnancies, I took a doula training course and was informed that Medicaid covers doula services. I searched for one in my area and realized there were ZERO! I made it my mission to take the extra steps to get state certified and Medicaid approved. I am proud to say I am the first Medicaid doula in Culpeper County. I also cater to Fauquier, Rappahannock, Madison, and Orange County. (Further upon availability) 🎯My goal is to provide quality, compassionate, empathetic, evidence based support to women who are more likely to get taken advantage of and neglected. As a woman of color, I know what it is like to feel dismissed and talked down to by the birth team/ healthcare system. I want to help you have the tools and confidence in your informed decisions. Congratulations on your growing family! My name is Inga Goodwin. I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, INA credentialed newborn care specialist, Christian childbirth educator and fertility awareness health coach. My burden is to empower parents-to-be with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to meet their breastfeeding or pumping goals, optimize fertility, birth safely, and get more sleep with a newborn! More about me? I am a home-schooling mom of 2. I birthed one of my babies at home and the other at the hospital. I enjoy composting, bird watching, and gardening for pollinators. Having an engineering degree has driven me to seek evidenced-based, practical solutions for my birthing and fertility clients. In all that I do, I stand in awe of our great Creator and make sure I approach my work prayerfully. If that resonates with you, take advantage of my free Birth Ready Check-up call service!
As a first time mom there was so much to learn and understand, but working with Inga made it flawless for my Husband and I to prepare for our little one and with the Lords help! We would have not known what to do if we didn’t have Inga’s help! The breathing techniques are superb it works and it helps! I was able to breathe through pitocin with no medication up to level 14, and even after having to get an epidural that suddenly stopped working completely. I was back to feeling the pain from the pitocin on full blast and in transition all I could do was call on Jesus through the breathing techniques Inga has demonstrated for us. We highly recommend Inga her determination, commitment, compassion, and kindness, knowledge, and wisdom is what a family needs during preparing for as she would say “the ride of your life” because that’s exactly what it is and then it’s a bliss of pure love. Overall our birth experience was worth it and we would do it all over again especially with the help of Inga. We couldn’t thank you enough Inga you are truly blessed with a gift and we thank you for allowing us to receive it!

Hi, I'm Chloe! I am a mom to my almost two-year-old son, Ezra and a Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula through Stillbirthday. I am here to support you in birth as well as guide you through pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding! I have dreamed of being a mom since I was a child. I knew for a very long time that was what I wanted to do with my life. Before I got pregnant, I discovered doulas and thought, "I would love to do that." I was blessed to have one support me through birth and that only further lit the fire within me to chase that dream and help support moms through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Chloe is such a caring and compassionate soul. She is an excellent listener and calms any fears. She helped me during the last weeks of my pregnancy and during my breast feeding journey. She was someone I could rely on and felt very seen and heard. Anyone would be lucky to have her on their birth team!

I decided I wanted to Start my birthworker journey, when my unmedicated natural birth turned into a emergency C-section. Even though, I had labored at a birth center with 2 midwives. The decides to transfer me after several days of prodromal labor. My experience at the hospital was very traumatic, and left me unaware and sad. I didn’t have anyone to talk to about my experience. But my doula encouraged me to talk about it. I realized I wanted to be for other pregnant women and make a difference in how we care for pregnant women during and after their pregnancy. As a POC birthworker, I am dedicated to help women of all walks connect better with their bodies and babies, throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.my mission is to prepare women by educating them about their birth rights, pregnancy/labor & medical interventions.I want women to feel more empowered and confident in every aspect about their birth. I am determined to increase awareness of birthing trauma; even more so, for women of color. I believe if we implement the holistic approach of our ancestors, entitled to the birthing mother, we can create a meaningful and powerful birth experience every time.
“I wish I knew about Bornbir sooner, as it's so important to surround yourself with experts who understand during those overwhelming moments and share evidence-based information.”
“I found my birth doula on Bornbir. After submitting my needs, I was able to connect with several awesome doulas that are within a local distance from me.”
“Bornbir is a powerful network. It makes connecting with maternal providers so much easier. It means supporting one another through this parenthood journey, no matter what stage you are in.”
