My passion is to stand with women in one of the most vulnerable times of their lives, offering support, advocacy, and a steady presence, no matter what their journey looks like. Beyond birth, I am dedicated to postpartum care that truly nurtures. The fourth trimester is just as important as birth itself, and every mother deserves care that honors her healing—physically, emotionally, and mentally. My goal is simple: to ensure women feel supported, seen, and strong in this transformative season of life. I would be honored to walk this journey with you.

Hello! My name is Jillian Manriquez. I am an enthusiast of humans helping humans. Although I have not experienced any of my own pregnancies, I have physically, mentally, and emotionally with my mom's three experiences. I've seen my mom go through each pregnancy differently as well as each of their births being unique in their own way but beautiful in every way. I have experienced seeing a supportive birth team by your side helps every woman feel more empowered and supported during this beautiful experience. My reason for becoming a birth doula is to come alongside each woman to support their desired birth plan and help them feel empowered through a vulnerable time.

I'm a traditional birth doula, birth photographer, and placenta encapsulation specialist. My heart is for serving and protecting women and babies. As a birth doula, I take a holistic approach to caring for mothers by providing nurturing guidance and hands-on support throughout pregnancy, birth, and immediately postpartum. I love helping women connect to their God given strength and wisdom. My own doula was instrumental in my peaceful HBAC (home birth after cesarean) which inspired me to become that support for other women. So here I am! I've said goodbye to my 9-5 and have committed to letting God guide me through serving families in my community during such a special time in their lives.

Hello! My name is Melissa Guerra, and I am a birth and postpartum doula, a certified lactation specialist, a yoga teacher, and a mother to 5 amazing humans. I center my practice around trusting our bodies and using my knowledge of physiological birth, to make labor as smooth as possible. I also view birth as one of the most sacred moments we can experience, and want to make sure each parent experiences that as well. I am passionate about postpartum care as well, and love coming along side families during the transition. I bring my knowledge, experience and caring with me to every postpartum visit. I truly love what I get to do, and consider it nothing less than an honor to share these moments with families.

Alissa is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, as well as a Newborn Care Specialist. She has a passion for supporting moms through some of the biggest moments in their lives and it is her hope to support and empower you and your family through this continued journey. Like most new moms before her, Alissa learned about her needs and those of her babies the challenging way. Reading books and taking advice from others was all she had as she journeyed through each unique pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience of her own two littles.

Ever since Jessica can remember, she has followed her calling to care for others. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse, and she has never deviated from that path. When she was able to formally follow her passion, she volunteered at CHOC hospital while in high school to care for sick infants. Jessica was accepted into the rigorous five- year nursing program at San Francisco State University, and was one of the 50% of remaining nursing students that successfully earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and passed her Board Exams to be licensed as a registered nurse. While enrolled in her rigorous courses at SFSU, she also became certified as a doula and donated her time to work with low- income families and assist women in the prison population at their births. Jessica’s experience during clinicals at different hospitals in the Bay Area made her question some of the traditional protocols that hospitals use, such as intervention in all births, even those that are at low risk. She began to explore other options, and was hired as an intern at The Sanctuary and Birth Center in Los Angeles. After graduating from SFSU. Jessica sought a practical balance and applied to and was accepted into the Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery where she learned and practiced a holistic approach to childbirth. During this 2 ½ year program, she was on call 24/7 for births, prenatal, and postpartum visits that were sandwiched in between her coursework. Jessica graduated, passed her Board Exams, and is a CPM-LM- Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife. Jessica has participated in more than 145 home births, and over 200 hospital births; she is well acquainted with the protocols of both. Jessica believes that in order to be the best midwife for her clients, she must be as educated and knowledgeable as possible, which led Jessica to complete courses in the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery program at Georgetown University. Jessica continues to further her education by staying up to date on advances in the health care field, and continue her studies at Frontier Nursing University. Jessica has officially graduated with a Master's of Science in Nursing with honors. Jessica’s ultimate goal is to combine the benefits of both western and eastern medical practices to her patients. As of yet, there isn't any other licensed midwife that has the breadth and depth of education that Jessica has achieved. Jessica believes in including the patient as part of the decision-making process. Jessica’s philosophy is that a woman should learn to trust her body and allow nature to take its course in a holistic manner when she is low risk and healthy—intervention is not always the solution. Jessica will be the strongest and most ardent advocate for mom and baby. Mom must also be educated and informed, and thus, she has responsibilities too, in order to create the most beautiful and awe-inspiring journey that the miracle of life has to offer.
