Nikki Seefeldt

11 years of experience

Nikki is a CACHE Certified and Advanced trained Newborn Care Specialist who began their career in 2011 as a Professional Infant/Toddler Nanny. After many years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers as well as multiples, she transitioned to the NCS field in 2021 while earning her degree in Child Development. She believes that all families succeed when they get the support they need, and as an NCS, she is a part of that support network. Nikki employs inclusive, culturally relevant, and evidence-based care practices. She empowers parents with parent education and encouragement to reach their full parenting potential and experience a positive newborn phase. Her goal is to leave parents feeling confident in their abilities. Through respectful, responsive, and nurturing care, Nikki provides newborns with a feeling of security and love, so they know they are cared for. Her favorite part of being an NCS is the ability to help families enjoy the newborn phase. Nikki currently holds an associate degree in child development and is a CACHE Certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. She holds the Nanny Credential through the International Nanny Association. Her professional affiliations include the International Nanny Association and the Newborn Care Specialist Association, as well as nationwide Nanny/NCS placement agencies. Additionally, she has education in lactation, caring for multiples, safe sleep and sleep conditioning, formula, eco-friendly/non-toxic products and practices, personal and professional experience with allergies/intolerances, and multiple parenting/teaching styles. Nikki believes in continuing education to consistently provide families with the most up-to-date, best care practices and information. Nikki has recently started their Certified Lactation Support Provider through Gold Lactation. In her free time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and cats, reading, and planning trips to Disney.

I don’t know what we would have done without Nikki! As first time parents, we wanted as much education about newborn care as possible while still prioritizing sleep and recovery. Nikki has been phenomenal all around- her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for both baby and parents are unmatched. She truly went above and beyond anything I could have imagined and made those first few weeks home from the hospital feel so much less daunting. She helped build confidence in us as new parents, and we are so grateful. Highly recommend!!!

Elise Silver

Having grown up in Vermont, I was always around breastfeeding mothers, clean living, and being part of a village for new parents. Upon moving to North Carolina in 2015, I realized the silver lining that was missing in childcare- a cohesive option for care for the newest of babies to any age child, while providing a balance of education, nurturing, and love to the parents. I have a wide variety of experience and certifications in pregnancy, labor, birth, and early parenting. I bring passion and expertise to each and every family she serves. My interest in postpartum work was sparked when my little sister was born; I truly believed that this sweet angel was brought into this world as my baby. From this moment on, I knew she had to work with babies and families in some fashion. Essentially, Elise did not choose the doula/nanny life, the doula/nanny life chose her. I offer a variety of services including: Elise brings a variety of experience, education, and certifications to your family: DONA certified birth doula DONA certified postpartum doula Rebozo certified Sleep Consultant Certified Nursing Assistant Family Coach Nanny Placement

Elise and her team were absolutely amazing in helping me in the early postpartum days in getting sleep and taking care of my mental health. Additionally, when my 1.5 year old began going through sleep regressions, I hired Elise again for virtual sleep support to help us get through the hardest sleep storm.

Hey everyone, name is Tara Duncan and I am a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula as well as Labor doula through Prodoula. After years of working with children ages 0 to 9 years-old, I finally found her passion caring for families doing doula work. I have been a certified doula since 2018 for postpartum, and 2020 for Labor. I care about the mental health and the functionality of families. I believe that knowledge is power; so I am never done learning so that I am able to provide the best up-to-date support and knowledge for families I serve. I have experience with multiples, tongue-ties, circumcisions, sleep training, prenatal and infant loss training, sibling support, and surrogate support. When I is not doing birth work, you can find me exploring the town, hiking, cooking, doing yoga or watching a movie.

Tara was our doula during pregnancy and childbirth and let me just say, I’ve gained a lifelong friend, first. She was absolutely amazing! Not only is she caring/nurturing, she knows her stuff. She always offered solutions and was one call away whenever I had questions/concerns. During pregnancy she met with us for prenatal visits & I loved most that she didn’t just care about me and my well-being, she got to know my husband as well! She catered to the FAMILY needs and not just mommy! During birth, man where do I even begin. She was amazing and I truly don’t know what me or my husband would’ve done without her there. It was our first time and she coached us BOTH through it and we all got milkshakes after haha but I didn’t sign up for postpartum services, but as blessings would have it, I ended up overpaying and was able to get about 5 hours of PP help and MY GOODNESS, Tara was sent by God and you’re not going to tell me otherwise! She washed bottles & pump parts, she COMPLETELY REORGANIZED my nursery to make it most efficient for us and that took a HUGE weight off of my shoulder. She washed clothes for us and everything. Mind you, all of this was while actively asking questions about our well-being and overall health. I wouldn’t trade her for the world and as we call her “Titi Tara” is the best and if I should be blessed to have more children, I would do the journey with Tara a million times again!!!

I can't thank Savannah enough for her incredible support throughout my pregnancy journey. From the moment I told her about my pregnancy , she provided invaluable guidance on creating a birth plan tailored to my preferences and needs. Her knowledge on postpartum healing and breastfeeding was a game-changer, offering practical tips and emotional support every step of the way.One of the most impactful aspects of her care was the open discussions we had about circumcision. She provided thorough information and empowered me to make an informed decision that felt right for our family. Her compassionate approach and wealth of expertise made all the difference during such a significant time in our lives. Savannah is a beacon of authenticity in a world often clouded by conformity. I highly recommend Savannah to any expecting parent seeking personalized, supportive care. Forever grateful for her guidance and wisdom.

Bridgette helped me during my pregnancy and birth of my daughter born October 2025. She is professional, helpful, and such a warm/calming presence. As it was my first pregnancy, i was very anxious and unsure about what was to come. Bridgette took time to explain things to me and answer any questions I had while keeping the energy light and fun. My personal favorite was her “lock in” method when i was pushing during labor. I firmly believe my first child came out after only about 10 minutes of pushing due to that method. Thank you Bridgette! You are the best. If i ever get pregnant again, you will surely be hearing from me❤️ !
