About me

Hi, I’m Briseida Fredrickson, the heart behind Luz y Luna Doula Services. I’m a proud Latina, a mama, and a doula offering prenatal, birth, postpartum, and sibling support. I grew up in a Mexican family where caring for each other with food, love, and presence was just part of life. That’s the same energy I bring to my work. Before becoming a doula, I earned my Master’s degree in Education Technology, taught in the classroom, and spent years nannying, caring for children of all ages. Becoming a mother reminded me how much support families truly need. That’s why I’m here to offer comfort, guidance, and the steady, loving presence of a big sister or tía. Whether you’re preparing for birth, welcoming your baby, or helping older kiddos adjust, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

Prenatal & Birth Doula I walk alongside you through pregnancy and birth with steady, heartfelt support. From preparing for labor to the moment you meet your baby, I offer comfort measures, guidance, reassurance, and a calm presence—so you feel confident, safe, and empowered every step of the way. Sibling Doula While you focus on giving birth, I support your older children with warmth, patience, and consistency. I keep them safe, comforted, and engaged so they feel included, secure, and cared for during this big family transition. Postpartum Care The early days after birth can feel overwhelming, so I’m there to help you rest, recover, and settle into life with your newborn. I offer newborn care, feeding support, emotional check-ins, and light household help—whatever brings ease, comfort, and confidence to your fourth trimester.
