About me

Hello, my name is Anna, and I am a birth & labor doula based in Los Angeles. Three years ago, a friend invited me to her home birth & I was skeptical, since I knew nothing about birth. Yet, it was such a transformational experience, as I had the privilege of supporting her through labor and saw the miracle of a baby entering the world. It changed my life! I love what I get to do, supporting families in vulnerable times, advocating for them, and creating an environment of safety and love. While I got my start at a home birth, I am happy to assist you in a hospital setting, birth center, or at home, since I believe you birth best wherever you feel most comfortable! I also do Bengkung bellybinding & placenta encapsulation to support the postpartum period.

Service introduction

When working together, my standard package includes 2 prenatal visits, labor support, and 1 postpartum visit, though there are always options for customization. I will get to know your birth preferences, be available for questions and referrals, then go on call once you hit 38 weeks. I provide emotional, physical, and informational support continuously during labor, and then visit you afterwards to engage with your birth story.

-Two prenatal visits; guiding you through birth planning and labor preparation -On call from 38 weeks onward -Continuous labor support, emotional, physical and informational -One postpartum visit; engaging with birth story and building good habits (will make any external referrals needed)

Placenta is picked up & encapsulated, to be used during postpartum. Delivered within the first week!

What kind of births do you support?

I support all kinds- medicated or unmedicated, at home, birthing center or hospital, with family and partner support around you or without, wanting to breastfeed or bottle feed. My job is support informed decision making and help you achieve your dream birth, whatever that may be!

Can I hire you just to encapsulate my placenta?

Yes! Even if you don’t hire me to be your doula, I’m happy to just encapsulate your placenta for you! Let’s set up a consult call to talk about what you want, who will take your placenta, contraindications, and delivery!
