About me

I’m Amber, a birth doula and the founder of Orion Birth, a practice grounded in the belief that everyone deserves an empowering birth experience. My role is to walk alongside parents with both steadiness and skill; offering hands-on comfort, emotional support, informed guidance, and a voice of advocacy when it matters most. At Orion Birth, I see birth not as a procedure to get through but as a profound transition into parenthood. My philosophy is that when families feel supported, respected, and truly informed, they step into this new chapter with more trust in themselves and deeper connection to their baby. Birth is unpredictable, but with the right support, it can be not only safe but transformative.

At Orion Birth, I offer full-spectrum doula support designed to meet families where they are. My services include prenatal education and preparation, continuous physical and emotional support during labor, and guidance through the postpartum transition. Whether it’s hands-on comfort measures, advocacy in the hospital setting, or simply being a steady presence at home, my goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way. In addition to birth support, I also provide belly binding as part of my postpartum care. This traditional practice offers gentle abdominal support in the weeks after birth, helping with posture, core stability, and overall recovery. It’s one of the many ways I help new parents feel held and cared for as they adjust to life with their baby.

A complete birth and postpartum support package designed to guide you through every stage with care and confidence. Includes: • Two prenatal visits (up to 2 hours each): • Review common hospital interventions (if applicable) and create a personalized birth plan. • Practice breathing techniques and labor positions. • Prepare for postpartum recovery and what to expect. • Labor support: I come to you when you’re ready, stay through the birth, and remain for the first hour postpartum. • Two postpartum home visits with personalized care. • Postpartum Belly Binding Session with therapeutic upper-body lymphatic bodywork (womb rub + neck/shoulders/arms/hands). • Self-wrap & partner binding instruction. • Labor comb engraved with a positive affirmation. • Newborn, postpartum, and hospital bag checklists. • Mommy & Me recommendations in your area. • Bonus: Free first class at Fit4Mom (prenatal or postpartum). • $100 off a photo session with LA ROUSSE PHOTO. • Unlimited support via text, email, or phone from contract signing through your birth.
