I am a Dona International trained birth and postpartum doula. I am also a Lamaze trained childbirth educator. I am committed to empowering families throughout their journey of welcoming a new baby. As a proud mom to six children and a grandma to three, I bring a wealth of personal experience along with my doula expertise. My philosophy is rooted in unwavering support, evidence-based information, and non-judgmental care, believing that every family deserves to feel confident, respected, and heard throughout their experiences. I understands that the path to parenthood is deeply personal and varied. Whether providing labor support, offering comfort measures or assisting with newborn care and feeding in the postpartum period, my approach is always tailored to the individual needs and desire of each family. Drawing from my own rich experience, I champion the belief that when parents are well-informed and supported, they are better equipped to make decisions that align with their values and create a nurturing environment for their baby to thrive. I am passionate about fostering a sense of calm and empowerment, helping families embrace the beautiful, sometimes challenging, and always unique adventure of expanding their family.

Hello, my name is Yanire but I go by “Yani”. I completed my Birth, Postpartum, Childbirth Educator, and Breastfeeding training through DONA International. I have personal experience with birth and caring for newborns from my own six children and three grandchildren, which led me to birth work. My personal experiences have shaped me to provide unmatched empathy and support to the birthing client. I am passionate about filling that gap of support missing from the birthing process and postpartum. I pride myself in being able to attune my guidance to their needs and wants. My strategy for working with the medical team involves demonstrating a collaborative attitude and offering assistance where needed. Advocating for my clients begins with understanding their birth plans. This helps to advocate with confidence and professionalism with the medical staff. In the birth space, I enjoy helping to manage pain via comfort measures pertinent to the stage of labor a birthing person is in. I enjoy helping to create a calm and peaceful environment to help with relaxation and addressing any doubts and fears throughout the process.
