My name is Tressie Casey, I’m a proud wife and homeschooling mother of three beautiful children, and of course a birth nerd. As a dedicated doula I’m committed to supporting families through the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My mission is to create a safe, empowering, and nurturing space where parents feel informed, respected, and confident in their choices. As a doula, I offer personalized care tailored to meet your unique needs and preferences. I bring not only professional training but also deep compassion and a listening ear, ensuring you feel truly seen and heard every step of the way. Whether through birth preparation, hands-on labor support, or gentle postpartum care, I strive to empower you and your family through this life-changing experience. My passion for this work stems from my own experiences. My first two babies entered the world in quite traumatic experiences, following severe postpartum depression and lactation issues. I remember thinking to myself “I don’t want anyone else going through this alone”. I quickly became the lady that friends and family called when they needed help or had questions. I had no idea what a doula was until someone sent me a thank you card one time that said “Thank you for being my doula”. This word really got me. I had no clue what that was. I decided to look it up and to my surprise I found it originated from Greece and means “to serve or mother the mother”. I instantly fell in love with that and realized that it was my calling. I hardly ever hold babies because they are in the safest place in the world, their mother’s arms. I always hold the mother though because just like her baby, she was just born too.
