Without Tia I don’t know how my birth experience would have gone. From experiencing a pregnancy after loss, Tia’s support made my labor and delivery go smoothly. Despite not having everything I wanted from my birth plan, we were still able to have a memorable birth experience that I would do 10x over again.

We are so grateful for our doula. She stepped in on short notice and supported us through every stage-birth preparation, delivery, and postpartum. I highly recommend Tia for her doula services. Although my birthing experience didn’t go as I had planned, having Tia by our side made a very stressful time feel as calm and peaceful as possible. She ensured we were informed of all possibilities beforehand, so nothing came as a surprise. Tia is knowledgeable, supportive, and also a genuinely friendly, fun person to be around.

I am blessed to have found Tia. I had a difficult pregnancy and my preterm baby had health issues. We contracted Tia for postpartum services. She cared for my baby and took care of whatever I asked her to do in my home. I felt totally comfortable leaving my IUGR-tiny baby with Tia and closing my bedroom door to get eight long, refreshing hours of sleep, and a long, hot shower. At the end of each shift, Tia provided me a list of things that she did including diaper changes (#1 and/or #2), sleep and wake times, and feeding times (how much, and how long). She shared with me anything that may have occurred during the night. She was an awesome source of information about the baby being that I'm a first time mom. Tip: Give yourself and your village a rest and contract Tia for doula services!

Tia Tucker-Cain made my birthing process absolutely amazing….never have I ever experienced anything so pure and empowering. Her presence brought such calm and confidence to the room. She is incredibly talented and knowledgeable, so much so that even the doctors and nurses were taking her advice during labor.
