As a massage therapist for the past ten years, I have always been in awe of the innate power of the human body. When I became pregnant in 2018, that feeling only intensified. Through birth we are put to the test; physically, mentally and emotionally... but it so worth it when you get to see that tiny human you created for the first time. It was my experience through pregnancy and the birth of my son, Simon Asher, that called me to this work. I am honored to be a Bebo Mia trained birth doula as well as a licensed massage therapist specializing in pregnancy and postpartum massage. Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through Concordia University, in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors in Fall 2026; and masters hopefully 2028. I pursued becoming a doula because I have always been passionate about women’s health. In fact, I took up personal training because I wanted to help women in postpartum combat depression and snap back to theirselves. I witnessed many friends struggle with taking the army physical fitness test and figured there had to be some way to be of some impact for all women who may deal with this, in either their career or daily life.
