About me

Hi my name is Tanya Kerr and I am a passionate, loving ,caring and dedicated postpartum doula/newborn care specialist that is dedicated to bringing the highest level of care and support to new families during this exciting and often challenging time and because of my natural love for babies and assisting those with needs that makes my job enjoyable and very easy. As a postpartum doula/ new born care specialist, I provide practical and emotional support to parents as well as newborns. I excel at helping parents with newborn care breastfeeding support, sleep guidance and meal prep. I have years of experience first because I am a mother my experience has been working with premature babies, twins and babies who are very fussy. I also have experience working with mothers that have had C-sections as well as those dealing with anxiety and postpartum health issues. My goal is to provide a calm and reassuring presence, helping new parents navigate the emotional rollercoaster of postpartum life. I am DONA trained and certified as well as doing my best to keep up with the latest information to bring the most effective care to newborns and their parents. I am knowledgeable about safety , I also have over 10 years of health and medical experience , experience with preemies, well as I offer overnight support. Qualifications Dona International Trained CPR and first aid certified Sleep training Physical support I provide help with physical recovery after birth, such as providing physical support after a C-section. Newborn care I provide help with newborn care, such as diaper changes, feeding, and soothing. Breastfeeding support I provide breastfeeding knowledge, support, and assistance. Meal Preparation To be discussed Referrals I provide referrals to local resources such as parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support, and support groups
