About me

Hi there! I am a DONA trained birth doula and have also been working to help people through injuries and chronic pain as a professional massage therapist for over 12 years now. I gained a passion for birth while making birth plans and creating roles for my own birth team during the birthing chapter of my life with my four cherubs. I was able to birth in various settings. I am all about doing things your way. I believe a woman should strive to have the birth experience she desires. I believe in a well thought out birth plan and in a unified birth team. Though things don't always go just as planned, having one is very empowering. I also have really appreciated the births I have been in where the partner is a strong presence during the birth. The power of a unified couple is not to be diminished. If you choose me to assist your birth, I will be there to help educate, empower, advocate and help you and your partner have an unforgettable bonding experience with each other and your baby. Whether you have a desire to birth at home, at a birth center, in a hospital--with an epidural or hoping to go med free, I will support you in your goals, we will do it "your way". For mamas: I specialize in prenatal, perinatal, post partum and induction massage--which means I can help you before, during, and after your birth.
