At 17, I was present for the home birth of my youngest sibling. In that moment, I turned to the midwife and told her I was going to do this (birth work) with my life. After having my first baby, I realized how vital support is for a new mom. Whether it’s her first, third, or fifth baby. Hello parents, I am a mom of 2 gorgeous boys, now happily living their elementary school years. I work part time in a floristry shop & more & more note that I gained a valuable skill in my babies early years. I miss that special time, & providing comfort to babies in need. It's an exhausting phase for parents & I welcome the opportunity to be of assistance to them. Nighttimes especially can be fraught with very valid feeding & settling demands by a baby, however, it can wholly detract new parents from their rest, sleep, & sanity. I am available for help, days & nights. (My husband is amazing with our own kids). Both my babies were breast & bottle fed, & took a pacifier for soothing times between feeding. I enjoyed learning so much about infant needs & patterns of growth, their development phases & overall sweetness & innocence in learning to be human! Our whole family enjoys being outdoors, while striking a balance of routine and ad hoc fun / adventure. Hello everyone! My name is Sondra and I own Arkansas Doulas and Arkansas Breastfeeding Clinic. I'm a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doulas as well as an IBCLC. I'm passionate about supporting families on this journey so they feel heard, validated and supported. I've had the privilege of working with families in Arkansas for 14 years. Becoming a lactation consultant has been a deeply personal journey for me. I remember the challenges I faced seeking accessible breastfeeding support and the frustration of finding that care wasn’t always within reach. I feel that no family should have to navigate these hurdles alone. I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (speech-language pathology). After my husband and I welcomed our first child, I discovered my true passion in breastfeeding and lactation. I then completed my Certified Breastfeeding Specialist certification in 2020. I began a clinical internship in 2022 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, where I worked until 2024 in the mother-baby unit, NICU, and pediatric settings. I became an IBCLC in 2024 and started my private practice. My greatest joy is being a mom to my four children. I've experienced nearly every positive aspect of lactation, as well as its many challenges. My passion lies in offering support that is free of judgment and tailored to fit your family's unique lifestyle.

My name is Stephanie Smith, I am a LPN and IBCLC- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I live with my family on our farm near Marshall Junction, where we raise chickens, ducks and emu (yes, Emu, feel free to ask me why!) and a bunch of farm cats. I enjoy caring for all our animals and gardening, and stay busy with our kids in a variety of school activities and sports. Professionally, I’ve been a nurse for 20 years, working in OB/GYN for the past 14 years. I became a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2016 and then continued my education to earn my IBCLC in 2025. My experience is in both hospital postpartum and outpatient clinic, caring for moms and babies throughout the first year and beyond. Hi! I’m Natasha Mizner, RN, BSN, IBCLC and the Founder and Co-Owner of Good Life Lactation! I started my career working at the bedside as a mother/baby RN for 10 years. Helping thousands of breastfeeding dyads in those first few days after birth made me realize the importance of education and support for families in the postpartum period. Since 2021, I have experience in both the hospital setting and private practice as a lactation consultant. I opened Good Life Lactation in 2022 with the goal of providing non-judgmental, evidence based, quality support to families. In 2024, I brought Emily on as a co-owner to be able to reach more families. My husband and I have three daughters ages 11, 7 and 2. Our youngest gave us a challenge as an infant. We worked through silent reflux, oral dysfunction, bottle difficulties, weight gain concerns and had her tethered oral tissues released. It was a difficult first 6 months, but we made it through and she is thriving. As part of my commitment to providing the best possible support, I am passionate about continuing my education and staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in lactation consulting. I have advanced training in oral habilitation and tethered oral tissues (tongue/lip ties). When I hear stories about families who have gone through breastfeeding difficulties with little to no support- the potentially avoidable stress, pain and guilt that they experienced breaks my heart. Families deserve better! While I can't promise to solve all issues or guarantee a flawless feeding journey, I can offer my support and expertise to guide you. I own and operate a birthing practice in Missouri and Kansas. My birthing practice is named My Ancient Birthing to commemorate my love for my God and also to embody and recognize ancient birthing practices. I am also an activist for the fair treatment of minorities; therefore, my practice serves as a pillar in supporting this paradigm. I am an ante, intra and postpartum doula AND midwife, a fertility and birth practitioner through DONA and I specialize in small surgical circumcision(s), lactation coaching and maternal fitness. I have a plethora of accomplishments through my work in My Ancient Birthing, but among the greatest achievement was being interviewed by the Voyage Magazine on March 5, 2026.
