I’m from Hendersonville, NC, and serve the Henderson County, Greenville (SC) County, and Buncombe County communities. As a Birth Doula, I offer prenatal, birth, and immediate postpartum care and support. I’ve worked with growing families, adolescent parents, and children for over 10 years in various capacities including childcare, social work, parent education, and doula work. I feel passionately that every pregnant/birthing person deserves comprehensive healthcare - encompassing but not limited to birth justice, informed consent, evidence-based research, and education, empowering birthing people and their chosen families, inclusive and trauma-informed birthwork, along with being in tune with our bodies and nervous systems. My goal is to serve and create a safe space for all family structures, including those in LGBTQIA2s+ communities. I am a native of the Upstate, raised in Greenwood. I am a wife and mother of two boys, and grandmother. I graduated from Greenville Technical College in 1999 with Associate Degree. Worked in the Women’s Center at Self Regional Healthcare as a registered nurse for many years. I decided to pursue my education, in 2010 I graduated from Lander University with Bachelors in Science of Nursing and University of Cincinnati in 2012 with a Master in Science of Nursing with a focus in Midwifery. I am board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board with an advance nursing license in South Carolina. I have participated in a variety of women’s health setting such as the home health, hospitals, and birth centers. I am also a CAPPA certified childbirth educator and have a special interest in education and anticipatory guidance during pregnancy. Working with expecting families is a true joy, all while supporting and empowering women. I provide personalized midwifery care.

I am many things; a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a midwife. I am also a lover of nature. When I am not seeing clients or at a birth you can find me camping in the woods, swimming in a lake, or simply sitting outside with my wife watching our son play. My other true love is midwifery.
