For example: Suzy is due in June, which means she has a month and a half to book Shenika for services. Suzy decides to book Shenika for 2 days a week at 3 hours each session for a total of 6 hours a week leading up to labour. For her labour, Suzy booked Shenika for 12 hours. She then added an additional 12 hours because her labour was taking longer than she expected. During postpartum Suzy booked Shenika for 3 nights a week at 3 hours a session for 4 weeks. In total Suzy used Shenika’s services for a total of 96 hours (96h X $68.00 = $6528.00) This example explains how you can mange your budget by paying for hourly services as needed however, no one truly knows how much care will be needed. In the long run, choosing the holistic birth package at the monthly rate ensures you’ll never have to pay more. The holistic birth package at the monthly rate gives you 170 hours of service for the duration of a month with the option to increase if needed. Prenatal, labour and postpartum services are all inclusive within the monthly rate.
