About me

I am extremely passionate about helping women to be prepared for childbirth. I am especially concerned with their mental health and taking the necessary steps to be fully prepared for labor, birth, and postpartum. Because of this, I am currently working towards becoming a biblical counselor. I have naturally birthed 6 babies in US hospitals without any medical intervention so I understand firsthand what my clients need and are experiencing. I believe that all women deserve someone to encourage, support, and guide them through childbirth, and find it a privilege to serve mothers in this capacity.

Hey! I’m a birth doula and I teach virtual and in person birth prep classes. I’ve had 6 natural hospital births and have been a doula for 3 years. My main focus is to get you and your husband fully prepared for what to expect- along with equipping him on how to support you. I will help you make a birth plan, learn all the stages of labor & what to expect from the hospital, breathing techniques that are mostly derived from studying hypnobirthing, I go over positions for labor and delivery, and most importantly, teach you how to advocate for yourself! I am beyond grateful for my doula and the support she gave me throughout pregnancy and birth. Because of her encouragement, knowledge, and calm presence, I was able to achieve the natural birth I hoped and prayed for. Sara is the most amazing doula ever!! She helped tremendously teaching us birth position, breathing patterns and more!! Being able to text her any questions at anytime was great when it came closer to delivering! I want to go natural to show myself that I could do it and she helped!! While delivering she bro me keep a calm mind and calm state to relax my body. She knew what I needed and help me get it. If she wasn’t there with us, I would have craved and gotten an epidural! But she pushed me and it went amazing! And I got the birth I wanted thanks to her!!! 10/10 absolutely love her!
