We have a 2.5 year old who slept 12 hours a night independently and never had any issue after we sleep trained her at 4 months old until two weeks ago when she got upset at bedtime and started climbing out of her crib. We moved her to a toddler bed and she now won’t fall asleep unless we are in the room and wakes up screaming if we aren’t there overnight. We need help getting her back into a routine and we want someone who can come to provide overnight care to implement the plan for a week or so. Happy to discuss budget - this is very important to us.
My wife and I just had our firstborn, a baby girl, on May 31st, 2026! We are interested in a night nanny to support us for the first several months on weekdays until our daughter is sleep trained. My wife is pumping and we are doing a mix of breastmilk and formula. We live in the Palo Alto area. Our target budget is under $10,000 per month.
Plan to give birth at hospital, want to get some in-person labor classes and birth doula service. Ideally vaginal birth with usage of pain relief medication.
- Requirement: Accepts Kaiser insurance for covered postpartum doula services. - Would be great if provider also had availability for night needs that could be paid additionally / out of pocket (since I know Kaiser does not cover night services). This can also be a separate provider. - Would like a provider with at least 2 years of experience working with newborns / newborn families. - Spanish as a second language would be a bonus, but not a requirement. - Requirement: must be OK with cats in the home, we have two kitties that share a space with us! If you are a cat lover, that is a big plus.
