Birthwork centered on the care, autonomy, and safety of Black women, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and disabled parents. This container offers emotional, informational, and advocacy support throughout pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. What’s Included 20+ prenatal sessions (90 minutes each) to prepare for birth physically, emotionally, and mentally. Sessions may include birth education, navigating medical systems, nervous system regulation, disability and sensory accommodations, partner preparation, and building a birth preferences plan. Collaborative development of a birth preferences document that reflects your needs, boundaries, communication style, and accessibility requirements when interacting with care providers. On-call support beginning at 38 weeks of pregnancy until birth. This includes phone or text guidance in early labor and continuous in-person support once active labor begins. Support continues through labor and for 1–2 hours after birth. Comfort techniques, helping communicate with medical staff, protecting your birth environment, and supporting your partner or chosen support person. Support immediately after birth to help with emotional grounding, initial feeding support, and transition into the postpartum period. Postpartum visits (60–90 minutes each) focused on processing the birth experience, adjusting to newborn life, and supporting the parent’s physical and emotional recovery.
