Working with Roman during my pregnancy and birth experience was truly a gift. I had the most beautiful and empowering home water birth surrounded by love, peace, and support, and Roman played such an important role in helping create that space. Her presence was calming, intuitive, nurturing, and deeply grounding. I felt seen, safe, respected, and supported every step of the way. She held space for me in such a gentle yet powerful way and helped me stay connected to myself, my body, and the sacredness of the experience. As an artist and deeply creative person, I know this experience will stay with me forever and continue to inspire the way I create, heal, and hold space for others. Roman helped make that possible by helping me feel fully held, emotionally safe, and spiritually supported throughout one of the most transformative moments of my life. I am endlessly grateful for her presence and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate, aligned, and genuine doula support.

Roman joined my labor team later in my pregnancy and jumped right in like she had been there from the beginning. I honestly wish I had connected with her sooner because she was phenomenal throughout the entire experience. My midwife was unable to make it in time for my baby’s birth, and Roman stepped in immediately with confidence, calmness, and so much support. She was incredibly helpful emotionally, mentally, and physically during labor. In fact, Roman actually delivered my beautiful baby girl, and I will forever be grateful for the role she played in such a special moment in our lives. With news my womb carried light, Roman was readily available for all things birth!; Working collaboratively with the schedule of my Midwife. During second tri, we started preparing body/mind with stretching and intentional-breathing exercises. One thing we did not prepare for was my younger sister's transition. Roman already began speaking about importance of checking in with self, and I believe that's had an effect on managing grief postpartum. Her perspective of life stems from personal & professional experiences in birth, which made me appreciate her transparency, & vulnerability. Self-checks aided in keeping my autonomy. The value she added to my home-birth was by use of her knowledge, understanding of the culture we were trying to cultivate, her wisdom with regard to my birth history, discernment that motivated her to move with urgency & intuition to act, in love, within her scope of practice. Communication was prompt, polite & professional, but her work ethic spoke the loudest. Roman truly has a grace and heart for this work that helps keep hope alive. After delivery we still had pleasure of working with Roman through her sister-company Riley's World! Where the agape in her heart for birth translates in her craftsmanship! Forever grateful!

Our experience with "Roman" can be summed up into one word - FAMILY. When we first met her, I was 3 months pregnant with my first baby. She was pleasant, sincere, and wanted to get to know about us on a personal level. In return, her knowledge and professionalism made getting to know her very easy. As my pregnancy progressed, we met and spoke regularly, and she shared videos and information that prepared me for what turned put to be a beautiful pregnancy and delivery. I felt supported, informed, and ready when I went into labor 8 days before my expected due date. She interacted with the doctors and nurses and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on which minimized any stresses associated with making technical hospital decisions. Her being in the delivery room eased my worries and allowed me to focus on all the techniques that she shared with us. Our baby boy was born in November 2022, and to this day, Roman is considered family and will always be a part of our lives. If/when we decide to have another baby, Roman will be our doula without question. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who's committed, authentic, and supportive. Whats not to be said about this amazing woman! The minute I started conversing with Roman it instantly be came more than just a business relationship. Through my pregnancy i have been experiencing some of the worse hardship a person/mother could go through. Ro has been my rock and my confidante. Shes been there when even my family wasn't. She advocated for me so well during birth. Making sure nobody ever dismayed me or forced me into anything i didnt wanna do. I really can't see my journey continuing without her!

I absolutely LOVE my doula Romanique! She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I wish I had Romanique as a Doula with my first pregnancy. She's been very supportive throughout my whole pregnancy. Romanique has went above and beyond her duties to make sure baby and I were taken care of . I had the BEST experience with Romanique during labor , she was very active, informative and consistently made sure I was comfortable during labor and afterwards. Romanique is a wonderful person. I truly appreciate her and all that she has done for me. She has done so much outside of my laboring experience, and was very attentive in my laboring experience. During my labor, she was very attentive, supportive, and encouraging. I truly believe she’s walking in her spiritual gift to help. I first met Romanique in July of 2021. I was pregnant with my second child and wanted to ensure that I would have him naturally. A major reason for acquiring a doula was because I was afraid of a repeat of first birthing experience, which resulted in a c-section. I wanted someone who would advocate for me and work to help me have a safe delivery. From the very beginning of meeting Romanique, we laid out a plan together to ensure that I'd have the birthing experience of my choice. Over the following months, we checked in with one another at least once a week. We discussed nutrition, exercise, and how keeping a positive mindset would help me attain my goals. Due to COVID, she was not able to accompany me to my doctor's appointments, but she did check in afterwards. As the time came closer for me to have my baby, we met multiple times a week via Zoom. She took the time to discuss birthing positions and practice breathing techniques with me. She also did multiple sessions where we would run-through movements on our birthing balls. On the day of delivery, she met my husband and I at the hospital. From the very beginning of my induction to giving birth, she was so supportive. She spoke up on my behalf to reiterate my written birth plan to the doctors and nurses. She also made sure that I continued moving and switching positions. She took the time to explain what was happening to me as a progressed through each stage of labor. In the end, I was able to have a safe delivery and it was in the way of my choosing. I am so grateful for having my doula. She was so encouraging and full of knowledge. I know that I had the success that I had, largely in part,  to her. I am thankful that even a month later , I can still reach out to her to ask questions and express any concerns. My experience with Romanique has been great.
