About me

At Delighted to Doula, we envision a world where every mother receives the care, support, and respect she deserves during the transformative postpartum period, and our mission is to significantly reduce maternal mortality rates among mothers in Texas, where disparities reflect deep-rooted inequalities within our healthcare system; by focusing on the crucial postpartum phase, we aim to safeguard the health and well-being of mothers while fostering healthier families and stronger communities, and a key component of this mission is providing comprehensive, evidence-based lactation education and support that empowers mothers with the knowledge and skills to initiate and sustain breastfeeding, recognize infant feeding cues, establish healthy feeding routines, and address common challenges such as latch difficulties, milk supply concerns, and pumping, all while offering culturally responsive education and hands-on guidance that builds confidence, supports physical recovery and emotional well-being, and promotes safe, informed infant feeding practices that strengthen parent-infant bonding and long-term wellness for both mother and child.
