I have been a childcare provider for over 20 years, and in the fall of 2019 decided to further my education in providing assistance to families by becoming a labor and postpartum doula. I also provide new parent education for those unfamiliar with newborns and infants in general. It is my pleasure to work with families in supporting their needs. My primary interest is in postpartum work and providing lower economical background families with support they need. I have worked in pediatrics since 2012 but have always been passionate about lactation due to my own personal struggles while breastfeeding my son. I made it my mission to help others and have been an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since 2021. I struggled with my supply, latching, pain, and an undiagnosed tongue tie but I also struggled with postpartum anxiety, depression and OCD. I specialize in perinatal mental health and feel that it's a vital area to take into consideration with lactation.
