About me

Natasha is a certified labor doula with Childbirth International and BEST Doula. She has been a doula for several years and has provided exceptional support in a variety of settings. She is trained in Spinning Babies and the Rebozo. Natasha is committed to improving birth in the community. She was a founder of Gulf Coast Birth Options, a Professional Member at Evidence Based Birth® where she received frequent continuing education on the best practices in the field, a former member of the Mississippi Birth Collective, MS Friends of Midwives, and a rally coordinator for Improving Birth. She was the first doula to be granted entry into the operating room of 3 area hospitals, strengthening the working relationship between doulas and L&D teams here on the Gulf Coast. .

Childbirth Preparation
Individual consults are available separately for the couples who would like to prepare for childbirth but may not need continuous labor support. During these consults, Gulf Coast Doula will help prepare you for labor, assist you in writing a birth plan, and teach coping and relaxation techniques. They will tailor a session based on your individual goals and needs to help you prepare for your birth. If you are unable to attend a Childbirth Education course, this a great option for you. If you have previously taken a course or have experienced labor before and simply need a refresher, this is a great option for you as well. Students leave class with quality resources to refer to during pregnancy and beyond..

Postpartum Doula Services
A postpartum doula offers physical and emotional support during the postpartum period so the family can focus on bonding and getting to know baby. Labor Doula Package
You and your doula will prepare for labor through ongoing discussion and by establishing a relationship that will enable you to develop the skills to relax and enter a confident place to manage your birth.
