I’m the founder of Sleepyhead Solutions, where I support families with both postpartum doula services and sleep consulting designed to bring more calm, confidence, and rest into the home. I know how overwhelming early parenthood and sleep struggles can feel. We started working with Michelle when our son turned one. We had been co-sleeping and nursing throughout the night, up 5-8 times a night and it was a disaster. Within two days he was sleeping through the night and I even had to wake him in the morning! He even started to nap independently which he had never done before. Unfortunately we went through multiple illnesses throughout the winter, a surgery, a move, so his sleep was all over the place once again. We did a regression package with Michelle around 16 months and he fell right back into it within one night. Michelle is a life changer! Our daughter was in our bed and still waking up numerous times a night. The first night of her help we got 8 hours of sleep with our daughter in her own bed. As an expecting first time mom, I was scared of all the parents who told me to “sleep now before the baby comes, because you’ll never sleep again!”. I value my sleep and found that Michelle had a newborn program to help coach parents to set up baby for success before those pesky bad habits start! Michelle provided a newborn guide that outlined what I should expect of my baby in the first couple of weeks and months, suggestions on how to set up our house for the upcoming arrival of our new baby, and checked in with me daily once our baby came home from the hospital. We really struggled with getting our baby to fall asleep and bedtime was taking 3-5 hours every night. My lactation consultant and pediatrician couldn’t figure it out so having Michelle there to text pictures and videos was soooo helpful as she told us some talking points to bring to our next pediatrician visit since our baby wasn’t sleeping as expected. My baby was diagnosed with a dairy allergy and once it was discovered and handled, we quickly got back on track. Even the pediatrician was surprised that we figured it out so quickly as first time parents! I’m proud to say that my baby sleeps from 9pm - 9am every night and has learned important foundational skills needed to be a good sleeper! In our house we call Michelle “the sand man” since she truly helps get these babies back to bed - and more importantly has helped us and lots of other parents enjoy their new baby and new lives as a family together. I highly recommend Michelle’s newborn program!

Michelle is truly a miracle worker!! My son was around 14months old and was waking up 1-3x a night. I was exhausted and I was really struggling mentally due to my lack of sleep. Michelle worked with me and was so helpful and took the time to listen to my concerns and challenges I had with my son’s sleeping concerns. Everything was virtual since I did not live close, but I never felt alone and felt so supported! She talked through options and plans that worked best for myself, my son, and my family! Once figuring out a plan, we got started and THREE nights later, my son was sleeping ALL NIGHT! Michelle checked in every day with me for 2 weeks to make sure I was doing well and our plan was continuing to work well for us all. I truly never felt alone and I felt like I had the support I needed to keep going! Those three days were challenging but so worth it to get my son to sleep through the night.
