Currently studying to become an IBCLC (lactation consultant), I have gained extensive knowledge in breastfeeding support. I provide newborn care, mental health check ins, physical postpartum care, feeding support and encouragement for all family members. Additionally, I can assist with light housekeeping, meal prep and sibling care if your family needs more assistance. I have various packages to meet the growing needs of your household. Newbie Basics
First time parent or it’s been more than 5 years since last birth/child - this is the package for you! It provides a complete list of all essentials during the 4th trimester. Included is after birth education, how to guides for birthing parent, assistance with hygiene and dressing, postpartum exercises (if medically cleared), sleeping tips, family care training, and so much more! I will create a customized plan based on your family’s needs and goals to ensure you have the BEST after birth/postpartum experience! *for clients needing financial assistance, ask me about my discounted pricing.*

New parent but it’s been a minute and could use a bit of help! This package says you are wanting to be self sufficient in learning how to care for your newborn and possibly an older sibling, and just need someone like ME to monitor your progress and encourage you along the way! Included with this package is all of the newbie basics but you maybe need me to focus on other things while you care for baby. Need me to help with laundry while you breastfeed, or take care of baby while you shower? Whatever that may look like for you and your family, I will be as hands on or off as you would like.

ALL HANDS ON DECK! This deluxe package says that you are in much need of a supportive village and need someone compassionate and understanding to help you get you back on track. Included is all of the newbie basics with an interactive hands on instruction that covers with breastfeeding support, household meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, newborn care, and even transportation if needed.

Miatta was fantastic and very caring oriented to what I needed after I had my daughter Sophia. I am a new single mom who had no one to support or be there for me. I was honored to have Mia by my side during the birth of my daughter. She provided me with meals through the day and evening, even made some to freeze for when I would be doing things on my own. She helped with night feedings, diaper changes, assisted with helping me heal from after birth by providing baths and showers. She helped with getting us to our appointments and taking part in those. She was very encouraging and always had a positive attitude towards me when I would be feeling at my lowest and discouraged when it came trying to get my little one to latch on for nursing. The care and attentiveness she gave Sophia and I was more than I expected and could have asked for from anyone else. I could not have asked for a better person to help in my recovery and postpartum care that first week home from the hospital.
