About me

Hello there, I am Marviett Young. I serve as a Certified Doula, Nursing Assistant, Community Health Worker and CPR Instructor. I have worked in health care for 15 plus years in a variety of areas including patient care and data entry. I have been employed at Parkland Hospital Emergency Dept. for the last 8 years as a ER Behavioral Health Unit Tech. I also possess extreme interpersonal and organizational skills. Patient care is the utmost importance to a healthcare setting in today's society. It is extremely important to employ the right professional for the duties at hand. I have received education for the doula role from Paradigm Doula Institute and ongoing continuing education. I became a certified doula in 2023 in addition, I regularly attend lectures, trainings and workshops related to childbirth and postpartum. My previous experience has shown me how to provide emotional support, physical comfort and, as needed communication to make sure that families have the information they need to make informed decisions as they arise during and after labor. Needless to say, being a part of the healthcare industry has taught me how to deliver quality patient service, with confidentiality, in a timely manner. Thank you for your consideration. Basic Madam Birth Doula

Motherly Madam Birth and Postpartum Doula

Access to our Basic Madam Doula Package as well as Postpartum Doula: Breastfeeding Assistance and Support for all infant feeding choices, Sleep Education, Setting up and organizing nurseries, Light cooking, housework and errands.

Welcome Home Package

By accepting tis package, I will be on-call as a Postpartum Doula prior to discharge and will meet you at home. I will make sure you are comfortable, will fed and help tidy your house . Assist with unpackaging your hospital bag and prepare the baby's next feeding. Once bed time, I will help tuck you in and care for the baby so everyone get a full nights rest. I will provide 10 hours of care to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
