I am currently a postpartum nurse and mother of four young girls. After nursing school at Ohio State I commissioned as a Navy Nurse. While in the Navy I worked on many units from Pediatrics, ER, NICU, postpartum, adolescent psych, and general med-surg. I found a passion for Peds/NICU and postpartum because I grew to love teaching and empowering parents to feel confident in their roles. I have loved all four of my non-medicated birthing and postpartum experiences. Outside of work I am a full-time mom, currently homeschooling my oldest daughter (6yo). As a family we are passionate about our Christian faith, very involved in our local church, and we love to spend time outside adventuring.

My work in serving and supporting the Akron area as a childbirth professional began over 15 years ago. I have a passion for developing relationships, working through fears, educating, helping families to know their options and supporting the entire team. I love to teach and also host group childbirth education classes and mentor local doulas. I 100% believe being a doula is a calling over my life, and I don’t take for granted the gifts God has allowed and doors He has opened.
