I want to start off by saying please don’t judge a book by its cover. Having Lisamaria as my doula was absolutely the best decision we made. Having Lisamaria provide support for my family before and after having my son was something I didn’t realize I needed. That no sleep zombie life really messes you up. Having Lisamaria watching my son while I rested aloud me to actually rest knowing he was in amazing hands. Her breath of knowledge and experience was beyond helpful. She taught me tips and tricks that no class or YouTube video taught me. I still remember the struggle I had trying to get my son in the sling so I could have my hands friend. For some reason I just COULD NOT get it. I watched Lisamaria as she just twisted and pulled and made such a cozy little place for my son to sleep and relax in the sling. It took me MULTIPLE times to finally get it down. I was getting pissed and overwhelm but Lisamaria was there helping me every time with all calmness and patience.

Working with LM was the BEST decision we made as new parents! From the moment she stepped into our home, we felt completely supported and at ease. She was an absolute lifesaver during those first few weeks with our daughter. Not only was LM incredibly knowledgeable about all things baby – sleep, feeding, soothing – she also had this amazing ability to anticipate our needs before we even knew what they were. She patiently showed us how to use all of our baby equipment (which felt SO overwhelming at first!), helped us establish good sleep habits for our little one, and gave my wife the confidence to tackle breastfeeding like a pro. Beyond the practical skills, LM provided emotional support that was invaluable. She was a calming presence during a time that felt really chaotic, and always knew how to offer encouragement and reassurance. Honestly, we can't recommend her services enough. If you're expecting a new little one, do Yourselves a favor and don’t think twice, hire LM as your Postpartum Doula!

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I did so much research and preparation, I thought I was ready for anything. I had no idea what postpartum depression and anxiety would do to me though. LM came to my rescue in so many ways as a doula. She was so good at understanding what my baby needed and was the only person who knew how to keep him calm and happy during his colic. But in addition to that, she knew what *I* needed, even before I did. Because of her, I was able to get the rest and self care I needed to feel like my body was mine again and be able to be a the best mom I could be. She also had loads of ideas and suggestions for sensible baby products, baby wearing and soothing techniques, and even self advocacy while I navigated postpartum care and my second pregnancy. When my second baby was born, she was still in our corner to help with the transition from one to two and make sure my first got the care and support he needed as he got used to being a big brother, while still helping me learn better ways to manage two kids in diapers, two nap schedules, and all the ways second babies surprise you and challenge you to re-learn things. LM was such a gift to our family.
