Having Leslie alongside my pregnancy and birthing journey as a birth doula was absolutely invaluable. Her support began immediately, answering all of my questions about anything and everything. She is so knowledgeable and encouraging, not to mention just a genuinely great person who brings calm and reassurance and advocates on your behalf. Incredibly thankful for The Doula Vita!

My husband and I are so incredibly grateful for Leslie. Not only did she support my husband and I during the labor and delivery - She also supported us prepartum and postpartum. I loved all of the resources she provided throughout the whole process and even afterwards. Leading up to our due date, we had two appointments with her where we discussed our birth plan as well as reviewed educational material. Closer to my due date, she goes on call and is available at all hours in case I were to go into labor. While in the hospital, she brings her own “doula kit” with additional resources to assist you through labor. What especially impressed me, was postpartum. She stayed available to answer any questions or needs that I had - She was also able to direct me to additional resources within the community. If you are at all considering getting a doula, I highly recommend Leslie.

Leslie was an invaluable member of my birth team from the day we met her. I knew I needed a doula to help me manage my anxiety and to help suppprt my husband, but she went above and beyond all expectations. She gave multiple resources and printouts to reference, she did multiple pre birth meetings to train us and to ask us questions on what our preferences were for the birth. She created a birth plan for us and printed out multiple copies to give to everyone. Most impressively- She stayed in the hospital with us for 3 full days and nights after I was admitted when my water broke early. She set the room up to be a calm atmosphere, reminded me to keep drinking water and change positions, and worked with my husband for hours straight to provide counter pressure and relieve the pain of contractions. Without her, I most definately would have had to have a c- section- And I can't thank her enough for all she did to help me avoid that.
