Hoping for a doula for labor support in a hospital birth setting as I’m wanting to go unmediated with as low intervention as possible. This is my 2nd delivery and I also struggled with breastfeeding the first time so I’m hoping for better lactation support this time around for a successful breastfeeding journey.

Im 20, and this is my first. I want to not only be educated but helped and supported through the whole process, as well as find a cheaper more cost friendly route thats not a spendy OBGYN, but also can support medically if that makes sense. I am open to talk about the options of where i can give birth, I dont really know what a good estimated budget would look like. Overall I feel I need to talk to a professional and weigh all my odds and decide on everything then.

We went to a place for our baby care first checkups ultrasounds and all the checks for the last several months. Now that we are getting closer we find out they are not a birthing center as advertised. So now we have to switch to someone else because i really want to avoid hospitals. We would like a home birth and possibly a water birth. Unmedicated natural birth, just need guidance and reassurance as this is my First.

1. I plan to give birth at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield 2. Not sure of budget/this may be covered under our benefits 3. Birth plan is currently to try to do this as natural as possible

I would like to give birth in a hospital with a midwife attending. I want to know how much can be covered by insurance first. I don’t know my birth plan. I just found out and am trying to set up prenatal appointments.

I would like to do a home birth or birthing center or something similar. This is my second pregnancy. My older child is 4yrs old and was born c-section. So this would be a VBAC birth. I will turn 33 just before having the baby. I would like a CNM with at least 3 years experience. We have Aetna insurance. I would really like to find someone covered by insurance and in network.
