I found Lana through my insurance when my daughter and I were struggling with breastfeeding, and I truly wish I had connected with her sooner! I don't know if I can find the right words to express how grateful I am to have found Lana as a lactation consultant. I almost gave up on my breastfeeding journey... that is until I met Lana. I was experiencing severe nipple pain while pumping, difficultly with my newborn latching and decreasing milk production. In our first meeting, Lana quickly identified that I was using the wrong sized flange - which was the root cause of my pain while pumping. After having bad experiences with two different pumps, she fitted me and recommended a pump that I currently use and love so much more than the other two pumps that I've tried. During my visits with Lana, she conducted a comprehensive assessment of my baby as well. She evaluated my baby for tongue ties and oral tension. She taught me how to do stretching exercises on my baby to improve their latching ability and ensure comfortable positioning at the breast. She also performed weighted feeds during my evaluation which reassured me that my baby was getting enough milk while breastfeeding. As a mother that is currently combo feeding, Lana quickly identified that the bottles that I was using were making the breast to bottle transition more difficult for my baby. She recommended different bottles that improved my baby's latch at my breasts. If you are a new mother getting ready to embark on your breastfeeding journey be sure to meet with Lana to set yourself up for success. And if you are like me, a mother that is struggling with breastfeeding - don't give up! Meet with Lana before you even think about quitting. Lana, your sincerity, gentle approach and kindness will never be forgotten. <3

I had a wonderful experience working with Lana through my many feeding challenges. She helped me work through triple feeding and persistent blocked milk ducts. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and kind throughout the process. She was always available when I had questions or needed reassurance, and her support made a huge difference in my breastfeeding journey. She was pleasant, patient, and truly caring, which made her a joy to work with. I’m so grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to any new parent looking for expert and compassionate support.

Working with Lana has been one of the best decisions I made as a new mom. Those first days after coming home from the hospital were incredibly tough, and Lana provided steady support, patience, and encouragement when I needed it most. She didn’t just help with breastfeeding, she helped my husband and me understand our options, lowered our stress, and focused on what mattered most: making sure our baby was well fed and cared for. Lana treated us with so much respect and calm, never pushing one “right way,” but instead supporting every feeding method, including formula, when it made sense for our family. Her knowledge, gentle approach, and willingness to meet us where we were made a huge difference in our early days at home. I am truly grateful for her guidance and would recommend her to any family.
