About me

Hello, my name is LaDysha, pronounced (La-Day-Shu). I am a highly motivated and certified birth doula here in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I'm significantly close to Fort Liberty (formerly known as Fort Bragg). Outside of birthing my own children, I have always known I would be a part of helping bring new life into the world in some fashion. I initially set out to study to be an OB/GYN, but my path led me here, and so far, this territory feels more like home to me. I feel I have more space to support, encourage, and empower my clients as a birth doula. My practice encompasses natural and pure vibrations, from language to listening and following the body's natural instincts. Along with my knowledge of positions during labor, as a certified prenatal yoga instructor, I will also be able to help you enhance your understanding of your body and how to prepare it for childbirth. I look forward to the opportunity to interview with you and be a part of such a precious time in your life.

Service introduction

I provide a support system for your support system, which includes a range of needed information about positions before and during labor to help progress the labor, as well as ways your partner can help in the process. I can provide information on lactation, including baby latching and the golden hour of mom and baby engaging in skin-to-skin contact. I will advocate for you and whatever birth plan makes you feel the most comfortable and in control. I will provide an extra layer of touch support during your labor, for example, applying counter pressure when necessary. I will be the constant reminder that you are not alone on this journey and I am right there when you need me.

Purple Passion
This package is a fixed package that includes the signing of a contract, two prenatal visits starting at 36 weeks of gestation, 24/7 on-call services at 38 weeks of gestation, and two postpartum visits (typically two weeks after childbirth). This package also includes a handmade belly support pillow for use when relaxing at home, as well as a pair of handmade hospital socks for added comfort if needed. *Noted: Within my contract, it goes into detail about the initial retainer fee, payment arrangements, and my refund policy if applicable.
