About me

Hi! I’m Kelsey, and I have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2018 working in both the hospital and pediatric office setting. I am also a Bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse and have worked postpartum/newborn care since 2016. I have helped thousands of mothers just like you navigate the first few moments after birth up to one year postpartum. My life’s passion is celebrating with young families the birth of their babies, in addition to helping with their feeding struggles. I want mothers to feel supported and educated to provide the nurturing care they deserve.

Service introduction

I offer private in-home lactation consultations in the greater Richmond-metro area! During our sessions together we will discuss your breastfeeding/ pumping goals for providing milk for your baby. We will discuss your medical history, your baby's medical history, and come up with a personalized care plan that fits your current life and goals! We will discuss common breastfeeding difficulties including but not limited to: painful latch, positioning, engorgement, low milk supply/ oversupply, nipple trauma, etc. I also provide custom fitted flange services so you know exactly what size flange to use for your breast pump to make it the most comfortable and effective at removing milk! In addition to lactation support I also offer infant massage group classes. During this 4-week session of classes you will learn, hands on, how to massage your baby to aid in bonding, relaxation, gas/tummy upset, growth, and encouraging the experience of positive touch.
