Hi! My name is Kaylan. I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist with a degree in Child Development and over 12 years of hands-on experience supporting families during the newborn stage. I’ve worked in both Alabama (where I was born and raised) and Los Angeles, where I’ve been based since 2016. My passion for working with infants started early, and I feel so grateful to have turned that passion into a long-term, fulfilling career. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of families — including first-time parents, work-from-home professionals, and even high-profile clients such as professional athletes — which has helped me become highly adaptable and intuitive in all kinds of home environments. As a true night owl (I always say I’m a bit of a vampire! 🦇), overnight newborn care fits my natural rhythm perfectly. I specialize in creating calm, supportive nighttime routines that promote healthy sleep habits, while also providing peace of mind to parents during those first critical weeks and months. I’m excited about the possibility of supporting your growing family and hope to bring comfort, care, and consistency during this special transition into parenthood.

I provide both overnight and daytime Newborn Care Specialist services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. Whether you’re looking for full NCS support or targeted help with sleep conditioning, I’m here to step in with expertise and compassion. Many of my previous clients simply needed someone to help their baby transition to independent crib sleep but didn’t have the time or energy to do it alone. That’s where I come in. I offer gentle sleep conditioning support and help establish healthy sleep routines that work for both baby and parents. From recovery support in the early days to helping you navigate sleep schedules, soothing techniques, and newborn care, I bring calm, confident guidance during this special and often overwhelming season.
