About me

Hi, my name is Katherine Ellis and I am a Birth Bootcamp certified birth and postpartum doula! Birth is a beautiful process that I believe is meant to be celebrated and embraced. I adore working with my moms and helping create an environment where they feel empowered & in charge of their pregnancy and labor. I believe education removes fear, and I love getting to walk alongside of my moms and families throughout pregnancy and labor answering questions, being an advocate, supporting them mentally, physically, emotionally, and being a place where they can feel comfortable enough to embrace the new chapter. I truly love what I do and would love to discuss any questions you may have about services I offer. Whether you’re a first time mom or an experienced mother who just wants a different experience, I would love to be here for you & to support you through such a milestone of life. Birth belongs to women—not doctors, not nurses, not doulas or OBs, and I’m here to help create a place where you can have the birth you dream of! Postpartum also has a special place in my heart. This time is all about rest, nourishment, and recovery. I am here to make sure that you are taken care of, your house is in order, and you and your little baby are bonding! I am happy to wash bottles, pump parts, help prepare meals and snacks, perform light housework, or just take care of your baby while you rest! It is completely up to you and your needs.

Service introduction

I offer prenatal consultations to see if I would be a good fit for you and the family free of charge! Past that I offer prenatal meetings, day of labor support, post partum check ups, breastfeeding support, and I will offer night nanny options to those who need extra hands! I am in the process of becoming a postpartum doula, but I am comfortable in various settings offering support in different ways. I am fully birth doula certified though and have been serving families!

Day of Labor Support
This is a great option for experienced moms who just need some extra hands the day of. This includes: 1 prenatal meeting on call 2 weeks before the due date until the baby arrives continuous labor support breastfeeding support if needed postpartum 2 weeks postpartum care to connect you to lactation consultants mental health resources or any other care you may need. If your labor allows, I will be happy to take some photos of your birth as well.

Full Service Doula Package
This service is great for first time mothers, or mothers who feel that they want to have a different experience after a challenging pregnancy experience. This includes: 2 prenatal visits availability virtually 24/7 via phone call/texting/emails throughout your entire pregnancy on call two weeks prior to the due date until the baby arrives breastfeeding education and connecting to lactation consultants if needed discussing mental health throughout pregnancy and connecting you to resources needed 2 hour postpartum care up to 2 weeks virtual postpartum check ins and answering questions if needed! If your labor allows, I will also happily take photos as we go through the labor process.

Night Nanny
Being a night nanny is more based of the family's needs; if you are wanting someone to help feed and change your baby throughout the night, run a load of laundry, help organize anything around the house, etc! My prices will vary slightly off how many children I would be watching, the needs of the family, and any other small events we can discuss.
